Just back myself now, after staying to watch Cork get their arses handed straight to them by Kilkenny. Christ, what a team. We'll be talking about Brian Cody in 20 years like we talk about Vince Lombardi or Alex Ferguson. Genius.

Anyways, I had great fun at the City West. Didn't hear any maggot acting, to be fair. Although I could have been one of the maggots - that Blue Wicked shite would blow yer mind.

Salvini was the toughest, and I mean toughest, SOB to ever to get into an Irish ring. He took a real shellacking, but no way would he quit.

First time meeting Willie and Dean - two diamond lads. I drove Willie mental with my shite talk, but he still indulged me, fair play. Finbarr Eade is another gent - pity he's 35, or he'd have been a real contender domestically.

And shocker! - SBW is actually a top fella, best craic of the night. We must do it again, Leonardo, really enjoyed it.

from slabbing inbred to top man to cĂșnt in the space of four posts - quite the Guaresque manoeuvre.

Dont be getting annoyed Brick Fists, not everyone can like you as much as that ponchy ringcard girl!

p.s. Anyone for the last of the Team Frampton hoodies? They allowed us to up the initial run to 35 from 20 and there are 31 ordered - let me know if you are interested.

p.p.s. anyone that has ordered off here and not given me there full contact details can you please do so by tomorrow because I'll be closing the order.

it was a hellacious wan-two of biblical proportions that sent McDonagh to the stretched canvas.

Tolan emerged in significantly better condition than he was in Limerick - the full story inc. video will be on boxing-ireland.com

5 of the top 6 stories on RTE's boxing section are about Kaite Taylor. Not a word about DolpPhils card or the first Irish female to turn pro, Dean Byrnes first fight in Ireland, Willie and the Big Bangs!

I just just about hold back the profanity. I urge everyone to contact them to get them to pull their socks up

I take it you enjoyed the show slappy. If Byrne was eligible to box for the British title, could he handle the likes of Lenny Daws or Nigel Wright, or is he way better, and up to McCloskey or Olusegun standard?

So when are we getting Casey hoodies??

Honestly it is a pity that fight wasnt on tv! Willie is perfect fighter to entice the half hearted boxing fan back to arena's!! he has some engine and he is the most genuine of fella's you could met!! Im delighted Setanta will be showing him on the 18th!!
