Very rarely will I consider a non (not close) p4p in my top ten because of 1 win, ECSPECIALLY if the guy (Pascal in this case) follows his win over a p4p with a loss to someone who isn't p4p.

 

The only way I can even see him winning is by knockout. Which is usually convincing...but, anyway, I like J Griz's answer.

He'd probably jump in the 10-15 range, around where Ward and Bute are. It would mean I'm overrating the hell out of Dawson though, and that Pascal has improved a ton since his last few fights.

B Hop ain't fighting a young, hungry fighter that's his own size. He hasn't done it since losing to Taylor, and he's not about to start now. Besides, he looked like complete horse**** against Jones, after looking less than impressive against Ornelas. NOTHING has to go through Hopkins at this point.

I don't think it works that way, even if Pascal knock Dawson in rnd 1, he's still far from P4P status. Anyway I think he will make Dawson lool like Mayweather and will be at the wrong end of a very wide UD, hope I'm wrong cuz I will be there cheering for Pascal to kick Dawson ass.

 

True true, B-hop ain't the same anymore but he is still regarded as a LHW threat. I give him the benefit of the doubt, because after the Calzaghe fight, people said he turned old, and said he would be KO'd by Pavlik. He schooled Pavlik, restored his credibility and 'turned old' again VS Jones. I'm not holding my hopes high but B-hop always had a strange relationship with time, just like a normal relationship with a lot of ups and downs... when his ability is being doubted he tends to confuse us again with an odd performance

 

And since there's a rematch clause in the contract, maybe if he wins twice against Dawson he can be rank in the top 10 p4p.

 

Hopefully, for this match, Chad will box Pascal's ears off before he tko's him.

Well Ward and Dirrell jumped very high after just 1 good win each, so presume same will happen for Pascal. If anything a win over dawson is better than a win over AA and kessler so he should be rated higher than both ward/dirrell.
