Who wins a fight between Wilfred Benitez and Floyd Mayweather Jr. at 147?
For me, Benitez by UD, something like 117-111. Too much defense and movement for Mayweather. May don’t throw enough punches at this weight and don’t have enough legs movement. A prime, well train, Benitez will never loss to Mayweather.

i believe that if mayweathers behind on points he would up his work rate in punches to be fair i dont have enough knowledge on benitez but i do believe that mayweather will do whatever it takes to win

May wins .. mayweather does everything benitez does but slightly better .. I think @ 147 benitez has more pop in his punch but that's about it ... nothing mayweather can't handle ... benitez is a solid boxer but I say may gets the nod 9 rounds to 3

Benitez is not anyone. Besides, I don't think Mayweather can beat, at 147, Leonard, Duran, Hearns, Robinson, Trinidad, etc.

wow this would have been legendary!!! I like Benitez in the early rounds (before the 8th). After that Mayweather will probably outbox him to a decision. Benitez could box himself like hell!!! (for the record).

p.s. Its a shame to see the condition of benitez today. He lives off the goverment and his mental state is pityfull. Its a shame when great boxers end up like this. Very sad.

It would still be a boring fight....Benitez was a classic counter puncher and I don't see Floyd being the aggressor!

Id take mayweather over duran, hearns, and trinidad.

Oacar smashed your boy at 147 so thats that..
Leonard used movement and speed to beat duran and hearns... i think mayweather would be able to use these same weapons to deafeat all three..

I would pump my brakes at about 140. Leonard, Hearns, and a few others would be a hard night's work. So I would go "favored" at 147.

And your opinion of Mayweather against Leonard and Robinson? I think both win against Mayweather, maybe by KO.

both had good power at the weight to go along with their speed and and movement and iq. i would certainly put money on the sugars but im not sure how they would have handled mayweathers defense or counters..

Yeah because Floyd has beaten so many prime, hall of fame fighters at 140 and 147. Robinson, Leonard, Hearns, and Duran beat him for sure. For me Sweet Pea, Benitez, PRIME DeLaHoya even.
