Fighters who werent built on hype but made it through hard work, beating top fighters even when not recognised. ie

    1.

won WBO 21 defences, WBC WBA IBF Ring SMW titles and The Ring LHW title

    2.

won the WBO LHW title 11 defences before relinquishing, he beat Gonzalez when highly rated (Ring #2) for his close win over Michalczewski and beat the highly rated Garay twice as well as Sahnoune and Ulrich. Stepped up and beat the WBC CW champ. Just a point Dawson who is highly rated by the Ring has never beaten a higher rated LHW than Erdei as Hopkins was holding the #1 spot for a long time so hasnt beaten a higher rated fighter than Erdei. Read below Erdei should be Ring LHW champ now.

won the WBO LHW title 23 defences and the WBO CW title. He also won the WBA & IBF LHW titles and beat Rocchigiani who was wrongly stipped of the WBC title, so had claim to all the LHW titles. When The Ring LHW belt was first around before it disappeared and then reappeared handing the belt to Jones, if the original line of you have to beat the man to be the man was followed it should have gone to Michalczewski for his win over Hill.

had 21 SMW title defences IBF & WBA champ winning his first title in his 13th fight beating a wealth of top names Brewer twice, Mitchell, G Johnson, Mundine, Markussen, Larson, Krajanc, Reid, Tate twice, Butler, Starie

gave Mitchell his first defeat, beat Siaca & Del Valle who put Jones down. Girard was only ever KOd once by the very good Sahnoune that Erdei beat. Won the WBA SMW & WBA LHW titles

has so far made 6 defences WBO LMW title defences and strangely is rated below Foreman whos big win was Santos a fighter Dzinziruk beat years earlier

Good fighters with no real hype, just hard working. There are many other good fighters like this, but I thought id recognise some of the (bar Calzaghe) lesser known ones, and allow people to enter other real fighters not just hype

You rate Erdei for a win over a guy that was already smoked by Roy Jones, and considered a bum on his resume? What were you saying about "real" fighters?

You know a guy's resume is garbage when Gonzalez is is a highlight.

Gonzalez isnt his highlight, it was a win against a highly rated fighter. Erdei has beaten better LHWs like Sahnoune but Gonzalez was mentioned as more American fans would know the name.
Its hard to judge Jones with the ripped fuel scandal, but you could say Jones beat Gonzalez who beat Johnson who beat Jones.
Erdei an undefeated 2 weight world champ

But you are right.. Gonzalez got smoked by a near prime Jones, then went 1-1-1 with Johnson, who beat a totally shot Roy Jones.. What was your point there anyway?

Ripped fuel scandal my ass.. Jones has taken many drug tests and didn't fail, including 2 follow up tests after the "Andro" deal that was sold in grocery stores at the time in dietary supplements and is not even proven to make you a better athlete. Also having steroid contaminated supplements is not unheard of either. You are only putting so much onto that issue because it helps your bias against American fighters, and your love for Euro fighters. Andro, is not responsible for making Roy Jones who he was, that is a fact.

And Jones was shot when he got knocked out at CW, had been for years, whats your point??

Had Erdei fought the fighters on Roy's resume, he would be knocked out at some point. I would bet my house on that.

You really make yourself look stupid comparing Erdei to Roy Jones... Isn't even close.

Your thinking of Woods who went 1-1-1 with Johnson. Gonzalez only fought him the once and beat him, though Gonzalez did lose to Woods. Shows how when these guys are winning and losing against each other, that Erdei is on a level above not being beaten

I havent gone out of my way to compare them. You brought up Jones name.
What love for Euro fighters? All I did was name solid real fighters, they just happen to be European
