Didn't you say Max Baer has a good shot at beating a prime Marciano? Behave yourself.

A lot of fighters can, the question is what should the odds be.

I think I'd favor Rocky over Louis, personally. Charley Goldman thinks a younger Louis would've been out sooner because he would have fought more without having backed up, and that's a no no against Rocky. But Louis could easily do it.

Walcott from 1948 could also do it. Tunney has a great chance, and a CW Holyfield has a shot. Dempsey could, but I do not favor him. His best shot would be an early knockout which I doubt could be done.

I don't know if anyone is favored, maybe Louis. A lot of these are 50-50 picks for most here. I favor Rocky against the majority of the lot.

If you favor David Haye you have a below average IQ, plain and simple.

No, I said he has a decent chance at his very best. That´s something different.

Okay. So percentage wise? Or out of 10 fights?

I'd favour Louis. Dempsey has a chance aswell. Can't think of anybody other than that.

There is no one I would "favor" over him under 200. No one.

And I'm not some fan boy who thinks he defeats the modern superheavies.

Out of ten? One. Perhaps two if he is lucky with cuts. Assuming he comes in at his very best every fight.

I'd expect Rock to brutalise him but without seeing Fitz, neither you or I have any idea

Okay. Maybe we have a different definition of a 'decent chance'.

Exactly. The idea that this 160 pound guy with no film is a pick em against Marciano is hilarious. From what I know Fitz wasn't the most durable guy either.
