I always try to keep an open mind but in this case I won't reconsider my stance based on these two things:

1. After he was caught I didn't see or hear backlash dropped on his trainer. If my employee jeopardized or destroyed my career he'd not only instantly lose his job but there would be major hostility between us. A lawsuit would most likely follow.

2. In Marg's last two fights he showed no signs of punching power. It's almost as if his superpowers had been taken away from him after he had been found guilty of loading up his gloves.

Technically there's always a possibility a fighter would not know what goes under his wraps. But hey, if you strangely run out of a restroom with fudge-like stains on the backside of your pants I'm not going to assume you accidentally sat on mud or chocolate.

I'm not good for this sort of theorizing, but if we're gonna go there it has always been my sneak that Team Margarito couldn't have been pulling that **** all along. I can see why they would take special measures against a human boulder like Shane Mosley. Durability wise he's no Cotto - or anyone otherwise, to say the least. Still, I'm not on this business. My one cent.

 

If he knew how hands should be legally wrapped, yes. If he didn't, then no.

Its puzzling to me why so many people condemn Margarito with absolute certainty, when Nazim Richardson who discovered those knucklepads is on record as saying it quite possible Margarito may have not known........
.....and you add to that, Shane Mosley saying right after the fight that he had felt the knucklepads and that they felt like any other knucklepad to him.....

.....and yet there are people of all walks condemning him with absolute certainty.:think

 

Margarito was never found guilty of knowing the stuff and I got trashed when I said it is very possible that he didn't take notice of the extra pad (which was soft and white like the rest and said to be harden with time) therefore calling him a cheat is a fat lie (eh, Dan Rafael?).

Glad to see those who really matter see the same, including Nazim Richardson. Fact that Margarito never entered a fight with loaded gloves based on our knowledge, and trainers think the fighter might not even knew what Capetillo was doing in that single fight. In the end, Margarito fought clean.

Banning the fighter who wasn't found guilty was fishy anyway, but the kind of hysteria that still surrounds Margarito is pure hypocricy from the local commissions and media with Shane "I injected EPO into my own body" Mosley standing in the other corner. He didn't even got his cheat win turned into a DQ and got away with a public apology for a cheat that actually took place, but the commissions and writers would ban Margarito for good, who didn't even cheat.

The biggest joke however is you guys drinking whatever the media is pouring in your mouth, even if it's ****.
