 Who are you trying to kid? Europeans will ban together with the first opportunity, especially if its against a greater power, in this case America.

There has always been attempts at pan-Europeanism, dating back to Napoleon, Hitler and now the EU. There are rivalries in Europe to be sure, but when it comes the USA, as we've seen from posters on here when challenged, will more times then not back the European fighter.

For an example. The Italian judge scored the 11th for Froch. Froch was largely being beaten around the ring. What possible reason would there be for him to score that round for Froch, other then corruption?

    Im a history major. Sorry.

But this isnt a history issue. Its a common sense issue. When it comes to anything vs the USA, alot of Brits, Germans, Italians ect, will become Europeans overnight. You can see it from alot of the posters on here

Who would have thought that invading other countries and killing everyone would one day be portrayed as 'Europeans banding together'.

World War Two (according to Michegan Warrior):

On 1st September 1939 Hitler moved forwards his plans for pan-Europeanism by deciding to band together with Poland. As hundreds of Panzers (A German word losely translating as ' bringer of love and harmony) peacefully trundled across the border, millions of Poles celebrated in the streets at this new era of co-operation between the two countries. It wasn't long before other nations like France and Great Britain clamoured to also be part of this new co-operative spirit. Meanwhile Hitler was putting the finishing touches to a bold and radical plan to provide newly built modern housing for the European Jewish community...

Like I said, you're just a victim of an ignorant education and ideology. Nothing personal. The dictators you mentioned also thought their interpretation of history is correct and objective and what they did was righteous. They left millions of dead people. It's happening over and over again, just look around.

Hitler saw slavs as inferior. Hitler wanted an alliance with Great Britain and France. As to why he only half heartedly attacked Britain after the fall of Dunkirk.

Hitlers main enemy in his eyes were the jews, communism and boshelvism. Infact nearly 400,000 members of the SS, which numbered around 900,000, were none Germans. Some of the last units fighting as Berlin fell were French Units.

So once again Cobbler, you prove your intelligence severely lacking.

And this has what to do with I said. Napoleons dream was a European empire under the French tri. Infact one of the main reason there was such opposition to his rule, was becuase he threatened the established single state order in Europe.

    I state merely facts.

    And now back to boxing.

So do you state that US boxing judges are biased for Venezuelan, Chilean, Canadian and Mexican fighters due to Pan-Americanism? Or: do you state that Cuban judges in the amateurs are biased toward American and Canadian fighters because they are all Americans at heart?

MichiganWarrior you are one of the most biased posters on this site lol.You whine Dirrell was robbed and Hopkins yet you then explain how DA won fair and square, and then when your vew isnt shared you decide to up the ante and declare that infact the whole of europe is banding together to help stop american boxers?:p You clam to have a History maor yet mix facts with your own opinion to create new facts. So i call you out and say you are either lying about havign a major in History or it is really really easy to pass a course over there.
Just look at the world cup and the rivalrys between certain european countrys and then look at how none of the european teams really felt much ofa rivalry to America. The fact is here in england, you americans are viewed as a distant ally where as alot of the other euro countrys are still (unfairly) remebered as rivals.

Even if Hitler had won the battle of Britain, there was no way for the Germans to be able to launch a sea invasion against the Royal NAvy. Hitler was merely trying to scare the British into surrendering. As to why he immediately turned his sights to the Soviets, content in the fact that he held Europe and the British had no way in that point of repulsing him out f France.
