I agree, pretty horrible. It is really just a tune-up after Maidana's contractual mess was cleared, let's see if Bradley, Khan, Alexander and Kotelnik are still interested in Chino once he's done with this very low quality interim title defense.

It seems like Maidana is becoming less and less a player in the 140 pound division due purely on bad management. While the other top guys (Bradley, Khan, Alexander and Ortiz) are putting notable names on their resumes it seems like Maidana is continuing to be put against crap opponents and that perhaps the promoters of the other top guys aren't willing to work with his people. I kind of feel bad for the guy.

Others have kept themselves busy with fights, so why can't Maidana?

Cotto and Floyd fought a way better version of Corley. This Corley is shot.

Maidana will beat better fighters soon. It's a stay busy fight!! I favor MAidana to KO Devon, Bradley and maybe Khan. But before that, I want the Kotelnik rematch. Cmon HBO.. make it next!!

Maidana has held the interim title for ages. Interim title holders are meant to fight the "real" title holder. I wonder why this hasn't happened.:lol::lol::lol:

Hey HomoJerome where's your criticism of Maidana fight a bum?

    Your next reply:

"Why doesn't Khan stop ducking him and give him a shot?"

    My next reply:

"Why doesn't Maidana force his mandatory by telling the WBA?"

You're a Khan hater. Simple as.

Because he's come to an "arrangement" with GBP. You'd have to be seriously thick to believe Maidana wouldn't enforce his mandatory if he could, it would be a career high pay day for sure, and he'd have a good chance of knocking Khan out.

If Maidana was feather-fisted, Khan would have fought him already. Likewise, if Salita was a monster puncher, Khan wouldn't have fought him.

I think it was a 3 fight or one year arrangement. So after this fight I believe he can enforce his mandatory. Let's hope so.

Hey Lazarus, if Khan beats Maidana, Bradley, Alexander or Judah, I never post a bad word about Khan again.

Chop Chop is finished I have no idea why Maidna is fighting him. I'd much rather see Maidana-Ortiz 2 or Maidana-Urango.
