Has the Super 6 been a success?

It's nowhere near over yet. Judge it when it's all said and done! Jeesh....

 

Well I've enjoyed it, hope it crosses over to all weight classes. this way you know the best HAVE to fight the best.

 

The eventual outcome will be a success in terms of crowning the true SM champ.The hometown advantage must be addressed before the "final" is completed,however.

 

So far, I'd say it has been. There have been a few unfortunate outcomes, but, hey we really shouldn't complain. Where else are the best facing the best in their division one after the other?

Hard to say. Outside of hardcore fans, nobody really knows anything about it. Casual fans i've spoken to know there's some sort of boxing tournament going on, but they dont know any of the fighters.

 

It's looking good so far, from a fans point of view anyway, hope we get more of them.

From a business point of view I'm just guessing but I think it's going well so far. Loads of packed shows, lots of great fights for showtime, and it's going to be getting much bigger for them in the next year with the last round and the finals. That final, if things go well, could be one of the biggest nights of boxing on Showtime for a long time.

 

I think it's been great. Judging and refereeing needs to be addressed across the board though not just this tournament.

But overall it's brought us some great match ups we otherwise would never had seen.

 

Yeah i think so, i enjoyed all the fights. All the different nationalities and styles make it exciting imo

That's nothing new. But it is a step in the right direction.

The thing that has made MMA what it is, is a combination of marketing and giving fans what they want. If its a PPV all the fights are interesting, there is good match making and the best fight the best.

If boxing does more of this it will help the sport, crowning true champs, and making the best fight the best. I mean, this Pac May thing is killing the sport. Everyone wants to see that fight, people that don't watch boxing want to see that fight and it isn't happening. People that don't generally watch boxing are really turned off by this **** and if Floyd thinks putting the fight on hold will increase buys he's nuts.

 

i love it but they need to a better job getting the boxers name out there i have been sceamin for years for showtime and hbo to have a weekly show on boxing much like inside the nfl it would do wonders for the sport
