its been slow, really slow the first round should have been finished in 1 year with the knockout stage being finished in year 2.

Also, a bronze medal match should have been included.

Its a mixed bag. The concept is great, but the fights are too infrequent and its a pity they couldn't include Bute to really test where he's at.

it has been slow but if you look at it like it is not a tourny you wouldnt complain about gettin these fights in the same time period i do think they should have 2 fights on the same card would help speed it up

There have been flaws, there have been let-downs, but all in all it has been amazing so far, and luckily for us will continue to be so.

I think the tournament has been excellent. A few issues here and there but overall its been very good. The third round has two of the best fights in the whole thing in Froch-Abraham and Dirrell-Ward, actually those are two of the better fights in boxing altogether. And all the fights have been on Showtime and not a ppv.

Needs better advertising, but as far as the product itself goes i can't complain, it's been a sick set of fights so far. I appreciate all the fighters involved as well, putting their undefeated records(some of them) and their belts(some of them) on the line. The home cooking needs to be put to a stop though.

Not all the top SMW are on there. Tale a look at my avatar, he's in the top 3 of the division and he's not in it.

The tournament is great though and I like it.

People who say it's taking too long are just being dumb. How quickly would it be normally possible for this many title challenges and unification matches to take place? These are all big fights and you cannot fault the fighters for taking a couple months between each to determine the best.

That's true but surely it would garner more interest if the fights were more regular? I know most elite boxers are set on two or three fights a year but as they are all in the same boat, surely agreeing to fight every two months would be beneficial? Carl Froch did not need 6 months in between the Dirrell and Kessler fights. Kessler, even though he got cut against Ward, did not need 5 months until the Froch bout either.

I do feel it loses a lot of steam in between bouts. If all the guys agreed to fight within a short space, nobody would be at a disadvantage and it wouldn't lose momentum.

No idea how successful it's been from a business point of view but it's been class for the fans.

Pisses me off when you get people moaning about how long it's taking and that they're bored of it, etc, when the Super 6 has meant that the best fighters in the division are facing each other on a regular basis. Without it we'd be seeing the usual routine of fighters facing sub-par opposition, shitty mandatories, inane speculation over who'd beat who instead of actually seeing it for real, while the likes of Dirrell and Ward would still be considered prospects.

Some people are ****ing hard to impress, honestly.

It could probably be cut down to 4.5 months or something similar, but I don't think it really hurts the tournament. But then again, I'm a guy that thinks active fighters should fight at least 4 times a year, so *shrugs*
