Toney calls out "chicken" Green

whoever said toney toyed with green didn't watch it properly.

toney may not have been in peak condition but niether was green.

he hit green with heaps of big flush shots and green took every one of them well. i doubt any other super middleweights would have even got in the ring with a heavyweight like james toney, let alone take half those shots that green did.

toney was trying and he was embarrassed because he couldn't put a skinny white kid away. if he is so tough why the need for a gun, lol.

the haters wouldn't have given green credit even if he ko'd toney in there.

Put in prospective..........it was a sparring session. Different scenario come fight night. Toney would of forgotten more than Green knows skill wise and prime for prime these 2 fighters are light years apart. One's a futre HOFer, the others a business man. Lets keep it real hey.

Green will come to the fight wearing a ridiculous mohawk get his arse kicked congratulate Toney and say the better man won only to change his tune 2 years later and say he wore the mohawk for some kid in another state who was badly burnt.Perth people will believe it.

Firstly, Green was in great condition and in training for the Beyer II fight which was 5 months away from the sparring he had with Tony.

Tony loaded up a few shots but all in all it looked sort of like a big grizzly bear playing with a fish that he was about to eat!

Green is also a natrual light heavyweight and he would boil down to super middle, thus he is fighting at crusierweight right now. Do you know what division Green competed in for the Sydney Olympics? :good

Tony wasnt embarrassed at all, he thought Green had dissrespected him after the sparing and in the clintch by calling him Porky Pig and other names.

imo this is a Gee up as Hyders already hinted that this is a fight they would take. He also mentions in the same article , the possiblity of brining out Holyfeild to fight Green for the WBF title? and luring Mike Tyson out of retirment LOL... the circus show must roll on! :hat

Danny must have been in peak fitness because the Beyer fight was only 5 months away and we all know how boxers like to peek 5 months b4 their next boutatsch
As for their spar it just shows how much of a ***** toney is when he threatens to get his gun.
I mean he couldn't even knock Danny down,all he could do was keep telling Danny that he's white and that hes european .
Well that white boy held his own to a point were james had to threaten to get a gun because he was embarrased that Danny was more than competitive in the spar and the fat **** didn't like it:deal
