I consider them Wins thats why i consider him a top 35 atg or maybe even top 30. People fail to recognize the weight he started at. As for the Sturm fight well i can pick apart any atg list and find a gift or bad night against a lesser fighter. Everyone knows ODLH was outta shape and looking past Sturm if he was on he would have beat him convincingly despite him never being a true middleweight. IMO his only real losses are tO Hopkins(no shame against the bigger man) Mosley I(i had that very close 1 point) and Pac we all know that wasnt Oscar oh yeah and Floyd but Oscar was fading and still made it close. All in all a pretty outstanding resume in my opinion

The Tito and ODLH fight was at least as bad as Chavez/Whittaker i had Oscar winning 117-112 and Whittaker winning 116-112. Their is Zero basis for having Tito winnning over Delahoya.

Actually Oscar was a beast at the lighter weights the way he just blew out guys. And the comp wasnt weak he just made it look that way. I actually thought Oscar learned a few things when he moved up as far as coming into his own(ring generalship) however although still a good puncher at Welter and JM he could no longer blow guys out like in the lighter weights. I think he improved after the Molina fight and then compensated for dfferent things when he moved up to Welter. Actually as a boxer he might have been best at 147 or 140.But his punch wasnt as devastating.

I had Ike up 1 point going into the last round, combine that with the 2 point round and he just edged it, in fact you could even make a case for scoring 10-7 and that would have made it a 2 point win for Oscar Imo.

At 135 i might go with Chavez:think But im not entirely sure on that one either Oscar had a perfect style for even a prime Chavez. Against Nelson id call this a pickem match, Oscar was a little green when he was at 130 more like a hot shot prospect instead of a true champ forward 1 or 2 years later and i have no doubt that Oscar would win convincingly. At 140 hed whup Tszyu i dont see kostya winning this ODLH might have been at his best right here he had already gained experience super speed and still devastating power, not to mention a big JW I see Oscar stopping Kostya in the mid to late rounds ko 9 or 10.

yey i know what your saying when i first saw the Leonard/Hagler fight i scored Leonard the victor by convincing decision (maybe 3 or 4 points). After the controversy me and my dad watched the tape with the sound off and we both scored it even. However i think Leonard gave a great performance and this was one of his great wins.

Good post i agree with everything you said, especially the Whittaker fight, i  when people say Whittaker was robbed he played to damn much to be the winner, he made Oscar look bad at times but he didnt do enough to win it.

nobody thinks tsyu could win against oscar? kosta was a very good boxer, a devastating right hand vs a great left hook.

I dont think oscar is the clear winner here, wonder why this fight never happened?

Yey Kostya was all of those things but at JW Oscar is the better boxer, bigger left hand, bigger man, faster fighter. Also Kostya wasnt the hardest guy to hit Oscars shots were like laser beams especially at JW if the ref didnt stop it then the Doc would after leaving Tszyus face a mess. Oscar had an excellent chin Kostya isnt getting the Ko here and he certainly is not beating ODLH on points.

I could make the some similar points on both being equal robberys, but ive done this like 1000 times before i even came to ESB. Some arguments i just get tired of. Like Ricardo Lopez. I still stick up for Oscar though cause its really easy plus i know even the casual fans have seen his fights, unlike with Lopez and some other fighters.

Your points are largely irrelevant considering this whole discussion is subjective.
