I am excited as it's a style match up made in heaven. It's just way too disappointing under the circumstances, not getting Pac-Floyd, having it at a stupid catchweight for a paper title and Margo recently being chopped to pieces.

Now imagine this fight after Tony knocked out Cotto, it's a LOT different.

i havent heard much about the contract. Is there a catchweight? Margarito cannot come in too light or it will not really be him.

There are a lot better fights this year to get excited about than this one.

It'll be a good fight from this perspective, this is Margarito's second chance, he's got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

My dad told me about this fighter from Mindanao since the middle of the '90s. Pacquiao became famous with those historic fights with Marquez, Barrera and Morales. With each Pacquiao win I thought people of Mexico were going to commit group suicide along the lines of Heavens Gate. My family members who are of Mexican descent sometimes didn't want to show up for family parties, because we'd give them hard time. They seem to forget that they made fun of Pacquiao and it was only fair they got razzed.

Margarito is going to fight hard because he KNOWS that except soccer Mexicans love boxing and a win over Pacquiao would propel him to demigod status. :deal

Whoever Pac fights I'm excited about. Can't wait to see concreto hit the canvas against yet another smaller opponent.

They must be really desperate to ride on this proven cheating bandwagon if he beats Pacquiao especially with the laughable size difference. Then again it will be funnier if the cheater loses.

Of course he will. That tomato can and idol of cabdrivers made a career fighting, cheating and losing to smaller opponents.

I can enjoy the social justice of watching Margarito get buzzed apart bit by bit. Like a De La Hoya who will fight back.

Or a mustachioed pirhana taking down a slightly anorexic ox.

Yeah, fighting is all that matters because it's all about the balls, right? Yeah, fighting with concrete in his gloves against smaller opponents is balls to you. That's what blood and guts warrior cabdrivers are all about, huh?

Lumpia, taco bell, Red Horse, and Corona. And sombreros. I always have a theme when I watch Manny fight.
