Just based on waht they say about PPV numbers I think he needs about 75k to break even, 150k to do well and 200k plus to do really really good.

I would assume that Warren will get the Sky money for each of the title fights as per the standard rates i.e. 70k for Euro Title, 40k for British Title fight etc, as Warren has held back a few of these fights and bumped them all
on this Saturday night ppv. So he will have recouped a large portion of the purse money from Sky right off the bat.

Perhaps, Sky have went for this as they will get a cut of the PPVs etc - otherwise none of these fights individually would have cut it as a PPV.

Also, the cost of 200k that you quoted are huge - I would say it is probably half that.

Have read interviews with Warren where he said hes putting his own money up and taking all the risk.

200k for Advertising, Staff you think to much?

That is only the case for fights on sky sports, not PPV. For PPV events, there is no set fee. Everything is based on the PPV sales.

Of course he is putting the bond down - he is the promoter - it is his risk. But calculated risk with very healthy margins.

I would speculate that as Warren pulled a couple of shows at the beginning of the summer, and Sky didnt have to pay for those Euro title fights etc that didnt happen, that they have the budget to trump up for multiple title fights one show.

Sky are the marketing machine for this and what exactly does Warren do over above what Sky do that is so expensive? Also, a lot of these promoters are subcontracting or staffing their operation on a part-time basis.

I think that price will rule out the casual fans.Have Sky confirmed how many fights are being shown? I wonder how much pubs are being charged.

Not 100% on how pub pricing works but my local was quoted over £500 for one of Khan's PPV's. Crazy.
