Wladimir vs prime Ali

I've never read such a load of crap in my life.

Any neutral will tell you that Ali would toy with Wladimir. He is too fast and too elusive to get caught and would pepper Klitschko to either a wide UD or catch him in the last quarter to force a stoppage.

Anyone picking Wlad by early KO clearly hasn't seen Ali in his prime.

 

come on people, i think a lot of people see 70's ali when he didnt have his legs anymore vs wlad then wlad has a chance.
Prime Ali schools wlad with lightning fast shots, he would dance circles around him fire of his jab hit him and be out of range before wlad can hit him.

Problem I always have with this explanation is that Wlad has plenty of range and the best in-out of the current crop, he also times his opponents fairly well. I don't think Ali can go in-out on him all night, I think he gets caught eventually.

If I had to pick, I'd go with either Wlad by UD or Ali by early KO (yes, early KO. Why? Because I think Ali can catch Wlad with a fast shot and stun him he can either flurry Wlad down or get the ref. to call it. Something I've always loved about Ali, when he saw an opening he wasn't afraid to gun it and keep the peddle down!). Then again, 15 rounds, not sure if Wlad can keep up that kind of pace for 15 round.

 

Hahahahaha you guys just kill me on this thing. Heres a better question. A prime Wladimir vs. an out of shape Corrie Sanders. Who win? Oh yeah!...

 

I think it would be a pick em fight. Ali could be just to quick for him, and be able to pick him apart all night. Or Wladimir could control the distance with the jab and lean on him during clinches getting his legs and tired limiting his movement later in the fight. Then begin dropping rights on him when he can't move. It seems like the style to beat Wladimir is one like Corrie Sanders. You have to break the distance of his jab, and hit him fast and hard. Though if the Corrie Sanders who beat Wlad, were to fight the Wladimir of today, I would look for Wladimir to stop him somewhere in the middle of the fight.

The thing is, Ali never got knocked out, so Wladimir isn't doing it either.
I would pick Ali by Unanimous Decision, the hand speed and footwork would pay off imo.
