Good article by scoop but with a little too much sugarcoating. He wouldn't pull the trigger on telling the truth about the brother - Floyd is scared of betting beaten up and knocked out by Manny Pacquiao.

WTF does Scoop know about boxing? He's a basketball pundit. When did he start writing for ESPN?

He made a very good and very long essay and all you can do is attack the person? That is argumentum ad hominem. Why don't you rebut what he wrote instead of attacking him as a person.

Honestly who cares what ESPN says about boxing
(Outside of their actual boxing staff from FNF)

They should stick to them dicks and balls they are used to.

Exactly! Who cares what the biggest sports news source in the world has to say about the biggest fight in boxing that can be made.

WTF are you talking about you over sensitive ladyboy. Scoop used to write for SLAM. I asked a simple question. If you know the answer then pipe up. If not wind your neck in.

The 5 points he listed as reasons for it not happening this year probably hold the reason why Floyd is holding out. Especially Roger's trial. If Floyd wanted he has a pretty credible excuse as to delaying the fight to next year. He could easily say ''I want to wait and see what happens with my trainer''

The thing is, he (1) Doesn't like discussing his family business (2) Doesn't really give a f*ck about everyone sitting around speculating about him. ''America is built on two things- money and controversy'' And the longer people argue about this fight, the more controversy it will attract.

Since Scoop doesn't qualify to write boxing articles in your eyes, here's a boxing writer's article, also a known *****.

"We just had Jones deceive us. We'd hate to have put our faith in another incredible boxer and have almost the same thing happen. Then we'd be the fools."

If you paid good money to watch Floyd fight Marquez and Shane you are already a fool.

i wouldn't expect pacman to go into the biggest fight of his career without freddie roach so i can understand why floyd doesn't sign until he is certain that uncle roger will be in his corner.

the other factor being is the amount of tax he pays if he earns over a 100MIL. he has had problems in the past with the ATO. these 2 reasons play the biggest role in the fight not being signed this year.

this fight will go ahead but it will be next year in May!

Floyd would have saved himself a lot of criticism had he just came out and said that. Instead he went into hybernation.
