Real fighters, not hype jobs, who have fought in the last 10 years.

I wasn't talking about Woods' best wins, I said he faced better fighters than Erdei, as did Johnson and Gonzalez. Erdei would not be undefeated had he fought at that level, like i said.

 

I am not talking about their wins, and I am not even saying they are better fighters than Erdei, just that they faced better fighters than Erdei has faced.. And sometimes taking a loss or two or three even to face the best fighters, is much better than going undefeated against **** opposition.

Erdei is unproven against great fighters., that is all there is to it.

 

Its easy enough... Look at the resumes of Johnson, Gonzalez and Woods. Look at the opposition they faced win or loss. Compare that to Erdei's resume.. Its kind of like strength of schedule in American football, some teams have harder schedules than others. Johnson, Gonzalez and Woods look to me that they had the bigger tests in their careers even if they failed, against better fighters than Erdei has. Its only my opinion though.

All of these guys fought a tougher overall list of opponents than Erdei. Clearly in my opinion.

 

Garay wasn't highly rated until he was robbed against Erdei. Twice. After Gonzalez (who just happened to catch Tiger at the right time and hasn't done crap since), his best win is what, Ulrich, who had just got his ass kicked by Adamek and subsequently got his ass kicked by Barashian? Or completely faded Fragomeni, who looked like he had almost nothing left, and was only a fringe top 10 guy at cruiser to begin with?

Michalczewski was a damn good fighter. I'm not going to argue most of this, although it's a shame that Jones and Tiger never fought.

He clearly lost one of those fights, lost two more on most people's cards, and arguably lost three others. And he's the opposite of a fighter - he's someone who only fought guys at home with a home crowd, and only fought the easiest fighters available and mandatories. A few of those guys turned out to be decent later on, but fact is that he faced Mundine when Mundine had less than 15 pro fights under his belt, fought Johnson in the midst of a streak where he went 6-9-1 (before he changed to his current fighting style), and fought a number of others only after they'd already been proven harmless by Calzaghe.

One very good win and a couple of mediocre ones. Ooooh. The rest of his record is ****.

He wouldn't be ranked low if he wasn't so inactive. He was ranked #1 a few years back, but he's been dropping because he hasn't fought anyone notable in years. He's been trying to make good fights, and hopefully he can.

This act would be getting a lot less old if you were actually talking about the better European fighters of the last 20 years.
