The biggest question for either Klitschko if they were to come up against a prime Ali would be...could they step up a level or two? I continually read, Ali has never faced anyone this big, has never had to deal with this, etc. But the guy isn't ranked at least 2nd in the ATG list for no reason...he has some of the biggest wins in boxing history.

The biggest name either has on there resume is Lewis (an out of shape Lewis at that), and whether you thought Vitali was winning or not...he still lost. It's alright saying the Klitschko's have size, power...they are athletic, etc...but that doesn't count for much if they can't take it up a notch against a Prime Ali.

They unfortunately havn't had the opposition to even be challenged in the past few years...and because of that, they havn't shown me anything that would make me believe they could beat a prime Ali.

    Lewis
    Ali
    Wlad
    Holmes
    Holyfield
    Bowe
    Tyson
    Foreman
    Norton
    Golota

    That's for starters.

I'd be hesitant to back Vitali to be capable of outboxing Moorer, Bruno, Witherspoon, even guys like Tucker and Douglas.

Take out the loss to Lewis and his career has next to nothing - it's thin enough as it is.

What has he actually done to become this iron man?

Quitting like a girl against someone that refused to fall over, or knocking over C level fighter after C level fighter and looking average doing it?

They've evolved to the point where they don't know how to throw uppercuts, and have no inside game at all.

And when faced with a similar sized opponent, are incapable of moving their head or bending at the waist and knees.

I agree with these bold. The rest wasnt quick enough, or had other disadvantage that Vitali could use. I think that you are a hater. Yes he is knocking out C-level fighters, but he is doing it with ease and is giving his opponents average 1 round per fight. Its very dominaating fashion.

Joe Frazier poses a lot more problems style wise vs a prime wlad. I think Wlad matches up very well vs ali and styles wise this fight favors wlad.

Now I would say just the opposite for Vitali. I think ali could decision vitali or stop via tko on cuts. However, I think a prime Vitali beats Joe Frazier.

I think this is a very competitive fight for about eight rounds, after which Wladimir wears down and Ali dances to a somewhat tame decision.

The WK jab would be the big issue of this fight, but I think Ali's versatility and speed would be too much. Good matchup, though.

I'm not even sure Ali would dominate Chris Byrd.

    Wladimir TKO 8 Ali.

Pshh. remember how Wlad was breathing through a straw and ice skating all over the ring like a drunken ***** after 5 rounds with Brewster? Times that by 5 against Ali. Baffles him with movement while still rope a doping him at times to punch himself out.

Ali by Wlad self inflicted TKO lung capacity loss.

If Ali was of this generation - Ali by mid round TKO
If Klit was of 60s/70s generation - Ali by early TKO
late 60s/early 70s Ali vs mid 2000 Klit - pointless (nevertheless pick em IMHO)

Without the benefit of modern training, nutrition and science the Klits are inferior boxers to prime Ali. While they are technically sound, the lack of speed, agile footwork, and Ali superior chin would result in Ali victory.
