The fact that you disagree based on size alone makes it appear you don't know **** about boxing.

I'm only discussing one man. Not everyone else, but one man, which happens to be Joe Louis who has fought men who fought almost identical to Klitschko, and knocked them out COLD.

You have no evidence on the contrary except, "they're bigger."

You are just one of these dumb ****ers who refuse to see how boxing has evolved. Louis had no footwork and not much defense. Watch some footage and imagine a Klit againsed him. Just do it pillock.

Oh so now a 6'5" or 6'7" pound fighter with the foot work of Wlad and Vitali and jabs NEED to fight Holyfield on the inside to beat him? :patsch Now I've heard it all!

Louis would probably be the man to beat in todays hw era...his biggest threats would be the klitchkos but I think he could take a ud over both of em...COMPETITIVE FIGHTS HOWEVER

We're talking about the same guy that was knocked out by JOURNEYMAN and NOBODIES.

****, the guy was knocked down 3 times by SAM PETER.

    That should say it all.

Dude just end it, I never once said I was favoring them based on "size alone". You are reaching and making **** up.

That is where I distinguish them from ****ing Primo Carnera....he had size alone. The Klits have legitimate skills, great reflexes, use range great, hit hard, have heart and are whether you like to admit it or not GREAT fighters! :patsch

Right right, Primo Carnera was "identical" to the klitschkos....you are so dumb it's unbelievable. Now since a guy has a similar style, he is identical? Forbes and Floyd? Explain that one genius!

You think Haye has superior technique to Louis? Please tell me you're not serious.... Louis's style is economy in boxing. He's a boxer-puncher of the catch and kill variety. I bet you think Arguello is slow with no defense either

maybe if haye was like louis he wouldn't be gasping for air before double digit rounds

yeah, that should be ignored. the klits and carnera have somewhat similar styles and size, other than that they are miles apart as far as fighters go.

In that case, you're wrong! Let me pose a very simple question. If every olympic record on the books from the 1930's (the Joe Louis era) has been obliterated...what does that tell you? Hmmm???? Does it tell you that maybe, just maybe we have better athletes these days. I mean, there isn't an olympic athlete from 1936 that would have a prayer in any sport against any modern athlete. Isn't that right? Why would it be different for professional sports? :patsch This romantic notion that the sportman of old were the best is just that...

    Wow....and your argument for Vitali?

I already said louis might catch Wlad, but if they fought 10 times Wlad would win 7 probably :good

    I'd say KO over Wlad.

Louis would get underneath Wlad's jab, and land combinations. Wlad's defense is merely to walk back in straight lines, and use his height to get away from punches.

Guys today can't duck a punch to save their lives though, and don't take any risks on the inside.

Look at what Ibriganov's movement did to Wlad. It made for one of the worst fights in history.

The difference is that Louis has great movement, but he would also respond which sharp punches.

Wlad has no chin, and no inside fighting ability. When Louis gets inside, it could be game over every time.

Wlad is being SERIOUSLY overrated. The man has been beaten by bums.

But I think Louis UD's Vitali who is very tough, and a better fighter than Wlad.

Vitali would be harder because he is tougher, but he is a thudding puncher, rather than a knockout puncher.

He breaks you down over time, and I think Louis's speed and movement would be what allows him to win this fight, but I think it would be a UD victory.

Look at how sharp and fast Louis looks against Baer.

I'm talking about rare occurrences, DiMaggio's hit streak has stood since 1941, why hasn't it been broken in 70 years?, why hasn't anyone come close?
