"Talk to any true Floyd fan and they will tell you: Getting in the ring and losing to Pacquiao would be more courageous than allowing the situation to play out the way he is allowing it to play out now."
Floyd deserves all the **** he is getting and actually deserves more, its one thing to avoid fighting someone but to make unfounded accusations of PED use is flat-out disgusting.
Kevin Iole used to write basketball articles for UNLV..so this idea that Scoop's opinion is invalid because he's a basketball junkie is null and void.
I don't take his opinion as gospel truth but the difference between Iole, Scoop and the rest of the public is that they are better writers and can write a well informed opinion piece better than most. Scoop wrote a GREAT article. Whether you disagree or agree with him is one thing. also like to add that 99 percent of boxing writers probably haven't stepped in the ring but they can add their 2 cents because they follow the sport.
Scoop's writing style is annoying. I don't like it when Southern writers write "Southern," and I don't like it when black writers write "Black." You have an education, might as well use it. The points he made on Mayweather were fine but nothing new, and the Jones stuff was simply stupid.
this scoop essay shows that the proverbial sh*7 has only begun to be flung, it hasn't even hit the fan yet. floyd and his family gonna need a lot of buckets and mops to clean up the mess.
I don't dispute PBF bringing this on his self, I don't dispute that PBF is insensitive to what "fans" want and doesn't rate that very high in terms of his priorities. That being said, I still think he will beat Manny in May, and when he does a lot of people here and around the world, are going to be left with little to really hate on the man about. He's the best in the world at what he does and that will be clear when all is said and done.
just take the f'n 40 mil cash without uncle roger. if he gets his ass beat, it would set up a second bout. more f'n money for both parties. I don't f'n get it.
Good article. Having that in thoughts I return to the Marquez fight. I had said that that fight was a loss. Not in a since of loosing the fight but it showed clearly who FMjr truly was. He was scared of getting hurt so he didnt press for a KO. Marquez was slower and 3 weight classes smaller. He should have KO'd Marquez. I also said the first time around that FMjr would never fight Pac. That all kinds of **** would come up to keep it from happening. All because of his vanity. He cares more about his "0" than everything else in his life. I dont think he could bare the humility of loosing to Pac. Specially now.
Well Said. I agree 100% with you. You cant call someone out as a cheater without proof then when this so called cheater excepts your bull**** demands Floyd goes into hiding. :yep Its bull****. Floyd fans for me are now the worst trying to defend a guy that doesnt give two shits about them.
ESPN are a bunch of clowns. They rarely plug the sport of Boxing on their show. When they finally have something to say about it, they degrade someone to no end. Justified or not, it doesn't matter. I didn't see them harping on it too much when Pac was too much of a coward to go through random blood tests. But whatever. It could be a good thing. Boxing finally gets plugged and Floyd is the center of attention.
