I concur, he should rematch Kotelnik before Bradley. DA's got some serious holes and I think it'd be better for him as a fighter to address them before going off to get dismantled by Bradley.

I don't see Alexander beating Bradley. If Bradley wins and then fights Khan, it'd be no different than if the Ring belt wasn't on the line vs Alexander because #1 and #2 would be still be fighting each other.

So, I don't think it's a massive difference either way unless Tim (or Alexander if he pulls the upset) decided to hold the belt hostage after winning it.

This is the problem with the Ring being owned by Golden Boy.

You've got Bradley and Alexander talking about fighting each other if Devon got past Kotelnik which would be for 3 titles plus the vacant Ring title, Alexander wins by a close decision and Golden Boy drop him down to 3rd and move a fighter that they promote into 2nd so that any fight now is unlikely to be for the Ring title.

Whether Alexander deserved to drop down or not is up for debate but it's definitely a conflict of interest as far as Golden Boy are concerned.

are alexander and bradley the best 2 in the divison? hard to say but it is debatable and that is the point. they are undefeated and hold 3 belts. it can easily be justified.

that being said can anyone claim to be the best lww without beating khan? i doubt it. so again that side can be justified.

im just glad i aint the one making the decision

Its their own fault for taking this long to fight... they should have fought eachother instead of the fights they took last time out, I said this would happen and it did (fight being 'less' when it happened) if they took too long.

Fight will still be awsome and is a fight that needs to happen. All these fighters need to be fighting eachother.... its a joke that only two of these guys have fought eachother.

    Bradley
    Alexander
    Khan
    Ortiz
    Maidana

throw Judah in there now cuz hes back at his division and the fireworks should be starting sometime soon.

I disagree, I think it's shortsided to take a kid who won a close, hard decision (reality, no hypothetical who anything thinks won, he won period) and discount him in terms of "top tier" when he's not lost a fight. I also see it as somewhat questionable that you would rate Kahn as the cream of the crop (along with Bradley) even though he's been knocked out by a relative nobody but got a win of Paulie M? I think Kahn is a great fighter and I think he has a lot of promise, but I don't necessarily see how you would immediately consider him a factor and Alexander a non factor, simply because you disagree with the UD that Alexander won.

Good. But I don't see the Bradley-Alexander fight happening. And that's two reasons.

    Venue and money.

Shaw quoted from Bradley that, IF the money is right, then they will fight. The money could be the big factor.

Bradley said he won't fight in Alexander's hometown.
Alexander said he won't fight in Bradley's hometown.

Alexander brings 10,000 in his hometown.
Bradley arguably brings 2000 in his hometown.

Being in a neutral venue won't be good. The turnout won't be good and the money won't be there, hence why this fight won't happen.

I'll be shocked if it does.

I rather people not get their hopes up since we've already been ****ed over once this year.

In an article The Ring wrote about it, they said they'll approach the committee to determine whether it would be 1 vs 3 for the Ring Belt.

It is comical that a man can win, and lose respect from a boxing magazine lol... People really need to watch Alexander-Kotelnik again, and then watch Kotelnik-Maidana...and give their opinion.

My opinion is that it's highly debatable whether Alexander is better than those two guys at all. Ranking him 3rd is pretty generous, but it'd be in his best interest to take the Bradley fight now because any other number of fighters at 140 have at least a good chance at beating the version we saw vs Kotelnik right now. Put him in against Kotelnik again, Maidana, Judah, Marquez, or Ortiz and it'd be a damn tough fight for him.

No big deal IMO. Im tired of hearing how good 140 is or can be its time for guys to start fighting the other top guys Khan vs JMM im ok with but why does Ortiz need to fight Vivian Harris ? where is Maidana and I wont hold my breathe waiting for Bradley-Alexander its a fight that should happen so it likely wont.
