Spinks, without any hesitation, imo. Adamek doesn't have the HW power or the technical ability to get it done, I don't think.

 

:goodcombine that with spinks far superior movement and proven ability against greater fighters at that weight and it's hard to disagree.

adamek is a very good cruiser and may become a very good heavyweight but as of now, i think spinks' awkward style, movement and dynamite right hand give him the edge

Spinks would have kept Adamek trying to figure him out the entire night. Not a knock to Adamek, but Spinks was amazing.

 

Spinks would win this wasnt too hard. Adamek is a solid heavy but nothing special he got the nod over Arreola cause Chris was out of shape and couldnt capitalize after he had hurt him However Adamek is a tough guy and will make it to the mid to late rounds, he probably would even steal a few rounds once Spinks got comfortable. But Spinks is in a different league and would whup alot more heavyweights than people think, Tyson was just the complete wrong type of opponent for him. Adamek cant steamroll Spinks and he sure as hell wont be able to out box him. I see Spinks wearing down Adamek then hurting him. Spnks wont let him off the hook either. Spinks ko9

ThE Spinks Jinx was no joke and Spinks could seriously hurt Adamek and Ko him in the mid rounds, 8th round Ko. Spinks is to superior to Adamek. Also, the awkwardness of Spinks worked to his advantage.

 

I'll admit I tend to be a little biased when it comes to fighters from that era. The mid 70's through the mid 80's was a great time to be a boxing fan.

Micheal Spinks once hit an opponent so hard with a right uppercut to the chin that it lifted the guy's feet a good 4 inches off the canvass, and then the guy hit the floor face first. It looked like something from a freaking cartoon. Tomasz has "cheen," but he does not have Jinks proof "cheen."
