very good video. But it makes Leonard look the best. I guess it should, he did beat them all didn't he? But they didn't show any of the knockdowns that Hearns hit him with in the second fight, and I don't think it showed the left hook Duran hit him with in the round 2 of the first fight.

This is getting sickening!!!!!! Everyone talks about the Fabulous 4 too much!!!!!! So what!!! Their are fighters now who compare to Leonard - Hearns - Duran - Hagler and would beat all of them easily!!!!!! Why are we so stuck on these guys of the 1980's who all lost easily at one time. Hearns and Duran were almost unconscious when they were knocked out! Lets make a video about Mayweather and Hopkins and Oscar and Manny and say forever young!! they are all greater than the fab 4 of the 80s!!!!!!!!!!!!! you have Roy Jones doing all these great things and he is almost retired and what do we talk about still? The fab 4 of the 80s! they were great but so were the other guys and one era does not win over others just because they all made each other famous!

 

It has to do with marketing. Each of the fab 4 were well known and put their time in with the networks and people knew them. The guys now were too inconsistent and also they were simply not as exciting as those guys and maybe the recent era of boxing just is not as good as the fab 4. Each of the fab 4 had exciting knockouts and could punch. Great era. If the guys now do not have that they have themselves to blame. Believe me another era will come and there will be another bunch of greats who make the impact Hearns,Duran,Leonard and Hagler made. But they will have to be warriors who fight everyone regardless of wins or losses. No one cares if a guy was knocked out as long as he puts his all out. Just because you have elite fighters does not mean they will make an impact these guys made. It takes more than just elites. Mayweather is good but he lacks the will to win and competitiveness of all of the fab 4. Each of the fab 4 had an aura about them and a following. I think it should been the fab 5 with Benitez.

 

Leonard was the best, in my opinion.

 

It just means that if Ricky Hatton fought in the 80's he would have four defeats on his record instead of two.

 

Because Floyd , B-Hop, DLH and Pac havent all fought each other , i do think some kind of fab 4 with Floyd Pac DLH and then maybe Mosley or Cotto back when he had an aura , would be great for them in tearms of future legacy.

 

He could loose to them all and we can argue him above ALi on the ATG list.

 

It's always a good idea to make sure you're not brain dead before you start typing. And by the way, all 4 of the Fabulous 4 would kick the living **** out of that ****-wad in your avatar.
