George maybe just because Tua would lose some leverage punching up that high, but Toney I think would not take a clean Tua punch. I always thought Tua had the type of power which if he hits a guy clean they all fall. But he didn't come close to Lennox. Tua vs. Tyson would have been interesting.

Oh and I forgot about guys like Mercer, Bonavena and Quarry. I'm pretty confident that they could take a flush Tua hook and fire back.

Roy Jone's left hook, was the fastest and most accurrate Left Hook of all-time.

Both Frazier and Tua were great left hookers, but for the best example of an amalgam of speed and power, I'll go with Dempsey.

the left hook Dempsey landed on Jess Willard caved the side of Willard's face in. breaking his jaw depressing his cheekbone and fracturing his orbital bone. is said to be the hardest punch ever landed so the Manassa Mauler gets my vote. Frazier's is a brutal 2nd

Those injuries were supposed exaggerated. I never got to the bottom of this claim either way. And remember Willard kept getting up, though Willard was a tough SOB.

Frazier landed a lot hooks on some guys before they went down. It was brutal, in part, due to the frequency with which he threw and landed it.

 He wasn't out, but he was certainly hurt. I think another one would have certainly got the job done.

If it was someone else tasting Frazier's left hook, they would've stayed down.

Frazier for me. Apart from Ali, any other fighter he connected with that left hook usually stayed down.

Ali was up after 5 seconds in their first fight in the 15th.
