Incidentally I think Golota was much the better of the two between he and Adamek. When he had his head on straight, anyway.

 

Sometimes people do overrate fighters from the past but that is not the case here with Spinks. Spinks was thought of as an elite great back then and in his prime was always near the top of the PFP rankings in a tough era. Adamek cant say the same thing he is well regarded but not among the elite in the game.

A prime and mentally right Golota would have put a serious beat down on Adamek at Heavy:!: Although if you take Adameks accomplishments in the lower divisions he is clearly the better fighter than Golota PFP.

And BTW you are wrong on Spiniks vs Holmes.Those fight's are VERY controversial!

 

Only the rematch with Holmes was controversial. I gave that one to Holmes by about 3 points if I recall correctly. Spinks won the first by at least that same amount on my card.

I love Adamek but can't see him winning this one. Spinks by decision.
