For Pac's 8th title shot at 154, Pac is a welter coming up. Try to keep up.

It isn't ok. But fans are forgiving because it's Pacquiao.

However, this is getting a lot of flak also because it's Pacquiao. People are expecting so much from him. If any other small boxer is fighting Margo at 151 they will praise him and call him brave and courageous. They won't even complain about the title if it's on the line too.

its not that i think, IT IS

a vacant title is a paper title, no lineage behind it, pac would be accomplishing nothing

miguel cotto got a lot of **** for it.

Some of you fools act like someone is making you fight at that weight and its your title on the line.

    Another bull**** fight from Pac.

It would be ok if there was no belt involved but this just makes a mockery out of the sport.
Why even have weight classes if fighters arent going to be fighting in them?

    A mockery? A MOCKERY??

You mean unlike accusing another fighter of steroid cheating, then demanding never before seen testing, then more of the purse, and then when the accused fighter gives into your demands... wait for it.

    YOU ****ING GO ON VACATION???

Not a mockery like that? No....?

That's the way it goes. When you are said to be the best, p4p#1, fighter of the decade, the expectations rise. And when fighters do anything less then the standards set by there assumed level of greatness then the grumbling starts. Its happens to everyone who is considered immensely talented.

Perhaps he doesn't have enough confidence in his ability to beat Margarito at 154?

But if he fought at 154 that would just show that he doesn't have enough confidence in his ability to beat him at 157...

Actually, it's not a problem as long as both teams agree to it.
