Would pac and arum make more money fighting pbf for a 45% cut.....or fighting margocheato for a 55% cut??? Why not take the smaller percentage to fight pbf and most likely make more money? is it just princple? or is it cherrypicking?

By that logic you can say why doesnt fraud accept 50% instead of going on vacation and make zero money?

still, intresting to think about it that way. The bottom line should be the total $ earned. Why not cave into folmo's demands jut to make a HUGE payday instead of fighting a cheating bum in mexico.

Floyd claims he never even negotiated and he's enjoying his vacation. There weren't any demands to cave into.

Anyway, I'm pissed about the fight, but I don't think it's cherry picking. Take Mayweather out of the equation, and Margarito is probably the biggest money fight available, and it's not a gimme either. I mean, who else was available?

Chavez - THAT would have been cherry picking

Bradley or Alexander - Not nearly as much $$$

Martinez - Not as much $$$, not as big of a name, plus one can't expect him to jump all the way to 160 (though it would have been nice)

Williams - Not as much $$$; tougher fight than Margarito, but doesn't make sense

Berto - Not as much $$$, no more of a challenge than Margarito

Marquez - Probably not as much money, and after seeing how Marquez looked his last few fights, does anyone really think Pac wouldn't rip him to shreds at this point?

Cotto - We already watched Pacquiao convincingly beat Cotto

I would have LOVED to see him face Bradley or Martinez, but there are a lot of reasons why it makes more sense to fight Margarito. Can't really say he ducked either one, or that he's fighting someone who doesn't make sense, considering the circumstances.

how would he take a 45% cut against floyd when floyd won't fight and is on vacation? let us remember that it was floyd who he wants and this fight is happening because floyd won't accept pac's challenge.
