Im kinda hoping this fight flops as cheato doesnt deserve it and pac and his team shouldnt have taken it plus if it doesnt do well then floyd will demand a bigger slice of their pie and make that fight even harder to make! Things are looking bleak for the mega fight

You might want to reconsider your assessment. Pac vs. Pwill would sell just fine. There is no justification for Pac-Marg whatsoever. The only thing I can think of that comes close to making sense is the fact that Arum is the boss and he should be entitled to handle his business to his liking. However it still gives the sport a black eye. I can almost guarantee you Pac-Pwill would outsell Pac-Marg. Marg lost a ton of fans after his debacle and while he still has a decent amount of fans in Mexico, an overwhelming number of Americans are still resentful and wouldn't pay to see him fight.

 

I'm sure that Cotto would like another shot at Margarito and may have a bit more appeal. Mayweather has made it clear he as no interest in Pacquiao at this time, for what ever the reason. Pacquiao has been brutal as he moved up in weight. He is stronger and more comfortatable. My personal oppinion is that Margarito does not deserve a shot at Pac based on his past history of cheating and his destruction by Mosley. Marquez was Pac's toughest opponent at 130 and 135, but not at 140 or 145, as much as I admire Marquez, all I see is a terrible beating for him in that matchup. I'd rather see Pac fight Berto, Bradley, Mosley, or several others in lieu of Margarito.
