A confident and worked up Lennox Lewis, could end this fight at any time. Depends how he went about the fight, he could easily just break him down slowly...or blast him out...!!

Too Good, Too Big, Too Fast....Too Much Skill.

Shavers has a one punch chance, and he might knock out Lewis if given the right chance. Would Lewis get back up from the bomb that Shavers threw at Holmes? probably not. So, I'll go with Lewis by knockout in a few rounds, because I don't think Shavers will land that one bomb.

When Lennox Lewis feel's threatened by a oponents.................the oponent is ****ed.

Lennox Lewis only ever was beaten, when he became too laid back and complacent.

Thats why Ernie Shavers is ****ed.

I know everyone always brings up the one punch ends versus McCall and Rahman but at the end of the day these were Lewis' worst off nights of his entire career and they coincided with the best single punchers either man ever threw (and in Rahmans case I think one of the greatest single punches ever thrown by anyone - with these sort of match ups I've got to take the men involved when they were on their best nights - so in my opinion Lennox Lewis on the night he obliterated Razor Ruddock - that Lewis - when he was young, rapid, cocky, aggressive and throwing an instinctive right hand like the first one that put Ruddock down for the first time - that Lewis was one of the greatest heavyweights ever IMO (number 14th in my rankings) - yeah I love Shavers and he may well have cold-cocked a Lewis on a McCall/Rahman off-night but no on their best nights Lewis all the way and maybe quick because as someone else said earlier in the thread if he viewed someone as a threat he would really go into overdrive - and they don't come more threatening than Shavers.

I think as soon as Shavers starts fighting Lewis he is taken out as Lewis often did early when people take a fight to him.

Lennox would destroy Shavers, this one would be over in a hurry.. Lennox is way to polished a fighter for Shavers to really test him... I guess if he was able to hang around for a bit he could land something but I think Lennox blows his doors off ala Golota and Grant...

If McCall and Rahman could do it, I guess Shavers COULD knock Lewis out. Still, the much more likely scenario is Lewis winning.

If Shavers can get to Holmes' chin and Rahman can get to Lewis' chin then Shavers can get to Lewis' chin. His chances are slim but , mathematically, he does have a shot.

Jeebus H. Christ, Shavers would shatter that shaky chin early. If palookas like McCall and Rahman could do it, the heaviest-hitting HW of all time shouldn't have too much trouble!!!

If the 6'0 190 pound Jerry Quarry could wack Shavers out in 1 round then so would Lewis.

Yes Shaver's has a punchers chance but that's it. He's massively over matched here, against a vastly superior fighter.

The only version of Lewis I could ever see Shaver's beating is the Lewis would showed up, under prepared, complacent and over weight against Rahman. That version of Lewis was very beatable for any fighter with a punch. But every other version of Lewis even the raw one who lost to McCall beats Shavers with ease by early KO.
