    B-Hop on his take on James Toney stepping in for the first time as a MMA fighter against former the UFC champion Randy Couture.

    “I think James Toney is going to get his ass kicked. James Toney is out of his league.

    When you step out into a situation where, against a legend too in his own sport. I believe, and I’ll go on the record, that the best MMA guy or UFC guy go up against the best boxer in the world in their arena, in their arena gets their ass kicked. I don’t care who it is, whether Floyd, Pacquiao, Bernard Hopkins, they get they ass kicked. That is not what we do.”

    I don't think it will happen but I would like to see Toney kick some ass in the UFC.

    i agree with most people, toney doesn't stand a chance but a win would be great!

    Toney is ready to go on a neverending ridiculous rant.. like he just discovered the cure for cancer after he puts couture to sleep... it will be annoying.

    Bernard Hopkins was talking all this smack about MMA fighters, saying it as Gay Porn.....

    But James Toney is the only boxer, to stand up for boxing............and take these MMA guys on.

    Just like Ray Mercer..!

    I hope James Toney called, Bernard Hopkins out after this fight...!

    This is a big mistake Bernard Hopkins is making....! If there's one guy you don't want to **** with outside of the ring, its James Toney..!!

    Exactly!!! If I recall, he's been stopped in 3 of his previous 4 fights? This isn't Randy Cutoure of a decade ago. He's far from prime.

    Yes, I am quite certian Toney will be taken down and embarrassed, pretty quickly, but it would be good to see the opposite happen......a decisive and dramatic win for Toney which would also translate to a *win* for the fans of the sport of boxing who hate MMA........like me, for one.

    Not happening, though.

    Couture is class wrestler, he will take Toney down in the first few seconds of the fight, and that'll be all she wrote.

    I see Hopkin's point, but if they are standing Toney could land a right hand and put Couture out. Once it goes to the ground forget it. It is a simple fight really. Couture would be smart to run at Toney all at once and get him down quick.
