all people talk about is either Ali and Frazier or Foreman and Norton in the 1970s or Hagler Hearns Duran Leonard in the 80s. There is more to boxing than 8 fighters from two different eras! Duran gave up all his money and gave gifts to friends and had tax problems and Hearns is bankrupt for the same reason so much for them being these great earners seems like they cannot help but blow all that money they earned, and that is part of that emotion of fighting stupid fights and maybe they were exciting but all those fab 4 lost fights to each other. Who can forget Hearns landing flat on his back against Marvin Hagler and Duran landing facefirst against Hearns. Ever see Mayweather land face first? The fab 4? Not very dominant like Hopkins or Mayweather. Floyd is undefeated my friend and where is his video???? Also I am sure Money Mayweather will have all his dollars in 25 years unlike Hearns or Duran!!!!

 

that is kind of a cheap insult saying they don't have money. Guys like Hearns or Duran probably grew up with nothing. They get money all of a sudden and how would they know how to invest correctly? That is not their fault. They probably gave money to everyone they knew and now they don't have anything left. It happens. Very understandable. That has nothing to do with how they are as boxers.

 

This video should've had mor Hagler & Duran thought it was good overall. Hagler was the best out of the 4 to me. Yes he is my favorite from the bunch too, I don't see any bias lol. All jokes aside, SRL-Hagler was razor-close and could've gone to either man though I had it for Leonard so it's probably a draw between Hagler & Leonard on whos the best out of the 4. Leonard was of course the most naturally-talented of the bunch.

I love Floyd too but he can't light a candle to the greatness of the fab 4. Plus, he wouldn't be undefeated had he fought when they did you can quote me on that. Also to say guys like DLH, Pac, Hopkins, and Jones are greater is silly you must not be serious. Love Hagler & Hopkins but Marvin fought better competition than Hopkins it's not even debatable. If anything the reason people may talk about Pac, DLH, Hopkins, Jones, and Mayweather now is because they're still relevant, doesn't mean they're greater not at all. What makes the Fab 4 even greater is that they ALL fought against each other. It's hard to come up with a bunch similar to them.

Most definitely. Even in saying that Leonard was the best of them, honestly there wasn't much to pick between with those guys. All of them were absolute class operators of the highest calibre.

 

The same way no one talks about Muhammad Ali, since he started his career 50 years ago, and retired 30 years ago, right?

By the way, at most maybe one or two active fighters today in welter-middleweight would have beat one or two of the 4. But even that is exceedingly unlikely.

Great video. It made me really look at this era and compare it to what went on between those 4 guys. Boxing was way better back then!

Floyd, Cotto, and Margarito could have been an awesome round robin similar to them 4, but Floyd found a way out of those fights. Now the trio is Cotto, Margs, and Pacquiao and Floyd is on the outside looking in.. Mosley just needs to fight Pacman and we've got something to look back on.. Cause Floyd isn't ever gonna take these guys on, at least not while any of them are young.

 

I think Ricky Ricardo should make his own video also.
