Chris Arreola vs Manuel Quezada- Chris Arreola by KO
Jean Pascal vs Chad Dawson- Chad Dawson by SD
Donnie Nietes vs Mario Rodriguez- Donny Nietes by KO
Gennady Golovkin vs Milton Munez- Gennady Golvkin by KO
Anselmo Moreno vs Nehomar Cermeno- Anselmo Moreno by UD
Miguel Angel Garcia vs Cornelius Lock- Miguel Angel Garcia by UD
Ji Hoon Kim vs Miguel Vazquez- Miguel Vazquez by UD

Ok, first up Arreola-Quezada. If Arreola is really serious and really focused on Boxing. He should take out Quezada in 5 rounds or less, and 5 rounds is being a bit generous. Arreola should really take him out in 3 rounds or so. So, I've got Arreola, and it should be a quick night.

Dawson-Pascal. This is a great fight. Two great fighters, two young lions will do battle. This is going to be fun. Dawson is obviously the hyped fighter and in most people's top 10 P4P (as do I, I got him 8 )but Pascal is no pushover and is a great fighter himself and he will launch up everybody's P4P list if he comes out and beats the #1 LHW in the world. Both of them have nice boxing skills, but Dawson has a big edge in that catergory, but Pascal has the much better power. So, how do I see this unfolding? Well, I got Dawson sneaking out with a SD victory. Dawson every now and again starts daydreaming and has mental lapses. In his last fight against Glen Johnson, he didn't and pretty much shut him out. Will he be able to concentrate or will he go back to taking a couple of rounds off here and there? Well, we'll find out saturday, but if he does start daydreaming, Pascal will wake him by hammering him with some bombs...or he might put Dawson's lights out. We shall see come saturday night.

This may'be the first time I say "Who the **** is that?" that's what I did when I saw Mario Rodriguez. I went on Boxrec and I figured out why I have never heard of him...he's a tomato can...and I don't use tomato can, bum, **** fighter, etc. very often. Nietes is going to easily win this fight. Take it to the bank.

Golovkin by KO. Nunez has a glossy record, but he has fought a bunch of nobodies. Golovkin easy KO. Take it to the bank.

Moreno-Cermeno II. I like this fight. Moreno is a very good fighter and Cermeno is very skilled as well and he even comes from the side of the dirty/crafty side of things. They fought in Cermeno's hometown last time and Moreno got the nod by SD. This time it is in Moreno's backyard (kind of since Cermeno lives in Panama now. This should be another close fight and I wouldn't be surprised if either fighter wins. They both are great fighters in the hot bed division of 118.

Garcia, Top Rank's blue chip prospect going up against the crafty veteran Cornelius Lock. This is a big step up for the Top Rank fighter. Lock is a good vet and he will give Garcia some work, he might not do enough to win...let me rephrase that, Lock won't win even if he does win, but he still will test Garcia out. I would be surprised if Garcia took Lock out with ease. As most smart fight fans know, in order to build a fighter up there has to be stepping stones, and this is a stepping stone fight for Lock. Of course, say Garcia does become a big star in a couple of years and may'be loses a fight, well some dumb fight fan will say "Well, he has fought nobody" "he's a bum" "he's overrated"....ok phew I need to stop myself before I go into a rant. lol.

And finally, we got Kim-Vazquez. This another one of those great slugger vs power puncher type matchups. Vazquez is craft and moves around a lot. Kim, blocks punches with his face, but makes up for it with his devestating one punch KO power. I'll take Miguel Vazquez by wide UD here. The reason being is I believe Vazquez can move and make Kim miss for 12 rounds. For those of you that saw Molina-Lundy earlier this year, I took Molina for the sole main reason is because I didn't think Lundy could move for 12 rounds, I thought he would breakdown and crumble. And he eventually did. I don't see Vazquez doing this, because he has been in with some power punchers and has experienced it all. Vazquez has 3 losses in his career, but not one at 135, which is looking like his ideal weight. His first lost was in his debut against Saul Alverez...yes THAT Saul Alverez. He lost at 140 in a 4 round SD. He then won 18 in a row, before losing to Timothy Bradley at 140. He then rattled off another 3 wins in a row before losing to Saul Alverez yet again. He went the distance with Saul at Welterweight (both fighters weighed in at 148, though) now he has gone down to 135 and has had success with his last big win coming against Bredis Prescott, where he outclassed and schooled Prescott. it has been over a year now, so he might have some rust, but I've got Vazquez by wide UD.

    Dammmmmmmmmmmmmnitttttt

    wtf Dawson :-(

No lie, im extremely dissapointed in Dawsons performence.

All props to Pascal, and to his fans. Well done :good Pascal is a bit better then i thought he was in all honesty, but also if im honest, to me it seems Dawson lost this fight as much as Pascal won it.... not quite sure what Dawson was doing in there most of the time.... whats worse is he seems to be in denial about his performence.

Well, might not have been a pretty fight but i was excited watching it.... well done to Pascal and congrats to his fans, very nice win. :good

I hate hate HATE picking fights wrong, and this one is going to bug me for awhile.... the problem is, is i would STILL want to pick Dawson over Pascal in a rematch, but fighting like THAT? almost passive in the ring, lackluster and with no real intensity outside of a few bursts? i dont know.... maybe im being too hard on Chad but it just seemed to me he was letting that fight go round after round.

well... hope everyone had a good night, im out to the clubs so everyone be safe and have fun :good
