if Toney gets to stand up Toney will win, if it goes to the ground which I think it will the fight will be over quickly.

It would be cool to see Toney school him but...
Toney is an older guy, and Couture is an older guy but...
Toney is going to Couture's playing ground!!

Tonney has much of a shot as any striker does against Coture..Like someone else said if he can get to his jaw before the takedown its his fight ..And Hopkins man why not he and Toney slug it out after words .

It doesn't even have to go to the ground for Couture to win. He's a master at holding his opponent againt the cage and using some good old dirty boxing. Toney needs space, and Couture will give him none.

Wouldn't surprise me if one of them won, and the other guy, in turn, lost either..

The underestimated element, imo. Randy has the edge on the feet if he has Toney pressed against the cage.

If I were James, I would get into the best shape of my life, and the second the bell rings throw my hardest right hand. And throw everytime he looks like he's even thinking about closing up.

I'd love to see Toney win this and I hope he just sparks Couture out early.

You don't recall correctly. Not even remotely close.

    Last 4 fights:

UFC 109 - Couture vs. Coleman - Couture wins via RNC

UFC 105 - Couture vs. Vera - Couture wins via Unanimous Decision

UFC 102 - Couture vs. Nogueira - Nogueira wins via Unanimous Decision

UFC 91 - Couture vs. Lesnar - Lesnar wins via TKO.

I think it depends on the style of fighter that they face. Alot of MMA fighters are strikers first and foremost and would get handled by boxers. That Enoki guy for example.

I think Toneys only chance is to catch Couture coming in, otherwise Randy has him up against the cage or on the ground till the fight is over.

my prediction is cotoure by submission mid-round2...cotoure ain't the best submission heavyweight artist in MMA but i still don't think toney has enough BJJ knowledge to stop him from getting a sub.

...a toney RD1 ko is not out of the question though
