    Simple poll....

Who wins? >>>> The best European fighter ever (to be decided amongst yourselves) vs The best fighter to come out of the USA in the last 35 years (also, to be decided amongst yourselves)

I have limited the USA to the last 35 years otherwise I should imagine the poll would be a little easier....

So Europe vs USA circa 1975 onwards.....

U.S.A wins by a landslide. I'm not even kidding.

In the last 10 years it would be a better matchup.. but the last 35 years.. USA.

best usa fighter of the last 35 years is ray leonard in my opinion, best european is of course the technical wizard and legend sven ottke.
I think leonard beats him via sd:bbb

U.S.A still wins, in our recent years we have recently been crap but europe hasn't been even really been competitive with us until about 2000.

benn never lived up to be anything p4p relevant

we all know what happened to bruno

naz never grew a pair of nuts and rematched the guy who took his clowning and turned it into embarassing humiliating defeat

if you're gonna back a UK fighter from this time period at least back one that actually mattered and is a real ATG:

HW - Lewis vs. Tyson or Holmes - Lewis beats prime Tyson, IMO, but would have struggled vs. Holmes
CW - Holyfield vs. Haye - Holyfield easily
LHW - Jones vs. Michalczewski, Carpentier or Fitzsimmons - Jones easily over DM or Carpentier, assuming prime for prime; who the heck knows with Fitzsimmons, too hard to measure against the eras
SMW - Calzaghe vs. Jones - Prime for prime, I'd take Jones. I think Calzaghe would have beaten Toney though.
MW - Hopkins vs. Cerdan - I'd probably pick Hopkins in a very close one, but Cerdan has a good chance
LMW - Norris vs. Kalule or Dzinziruk? - Either way, Norris wins. I can't think of a great European light middleweight.
WW - Leonard vs. Kid Lewis - Hard to say because of the eras. Modern rules, Leonard probably wins, but I'm not knowledgeable enough on Lewis to make a call there.
JWW - Loi vs. Pryor - Hard one to pick for me. I'd probably slightly favor Loi.
LW - Whitaker vs. Buchanan - Whitaker is a stone cold lock
JLW - Mayweather vs. Bredahl - That's got to be a joke.
Feather - Hamed vs. Gainer? - Hamed probably takes it
SBW - Junior Jones vs. Monshipour?? - Jones easy. Can't think of a good European ever in the weight class.
BW - Ayala vs. Kid Francis? - No clue
SFL - Tapia vs. Darchinyan - Tapia in a war
FL - Wilde vs. Mark Johnson - Wilde easy
JFL - Carbajal vs. Asloum - Carbajal with no problems
MW - Not worth it, all the good fighters have come from Asia, Africa or Latin America

US still probably takes it though.
