I cant see Lewis beating prime Tyson. Prime Lewis got put to sleep twice by nobodies like Rahman and McCall. Prime Tyson was ten times better then does two guys.

don't get mad just because Benn's career never escalated to be anything truly great. Good wins against simms, mcclellan, and a shop shop shopworn barkley but he was never a truly special fighter. please, use your nearby kleenex.

And he then proceeded to slaughter them in rematches.

Big deal. The point was that he got ko'd by two guys who no one will ever talk about again unless its on some time of quiz on Lennox career. Prime Tyson, how ever short his prime was, was a beast. His combos were quick and powerful. If Rahman and McCall can land, Prime Tyson sure as hell could as well.

Maybe so but How long did Tysons prime last? Right up until he was beat at the tender age of 24 right? and who did he fight worth a toss in that period?
Tyson was fantastic at bowling tin cans over and an ancient holmes but his greatness is over hyped big time amongst general fight fans.

Teddy Atlas will tell you a young amateur Lennox Lewis was brought in to spar a young Pro in Tyson and after 2 rounds Lewis beat Tyson up and had to be sent away.

Actually, Lewis was always gonna provide problems for Mike. Look at who beat him in his prime-douglas.... Douglas is like a shitty mc**** version of lewis. Lewis would always have the size, straight punching, and lateral movement to give Tyson issues, plus pretty impressive will to win and some KO power of his own. Prime tyson has way better of a chance of b&wing his way inside and lighting up Lewis's questionable chin, but it would have still been a fight down to the wire and I wouldn't bet on it. IIRC he also gave mike trouble in the ams.

I'm not even a Lewis fan but everyone knows he wasnt focused for those fights, which was proved in the rematches.

He was also much shorter and had problems with big guys with good jabs. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Tyson knocked him out, but I would favor Lewis to keep him at the end of the jab, get into trouble a couple of times, and pull out a decision.

Especially the Rahman fight... he didn't do hardly any training due to filming Oceans Eleven and then turned up to South Africa only 1 week before the fight which wasn't enough time to acclimatise to the altitude.... The KO in the rematch is still one of my favourites. Watch this and turn the sound up.

The whole point was that he got ko'd twice which means it can happen with a big puncher like Tyson. Its not really hard to comprehend.

Are you ******ed? How was that a prime Lewis exactly? McCall was pre-prime, Rahman he was over-weight and by all accounts, was ****ing about for the majority of the time when he should have been training.
