The good news is he'll most likely fight a better opponent next time you see him.

Doesn't surprise me. Hand cannon guys like DL usually end up sustaining some sort of injury like this one time during their career at least... Is it broken/serious? which hand?

Not serious. According to rds.ca it's actually a wrist injury. Something about inflammation. He has to stop training for a few weeks.

According to Yvon Michel, David should be back in the ring in November.

Lemieux looks to be a top talent. I have to see what happens when he gets hit hard.

I'm surprised by all the love David got since knocking out Ayala.

People do love knockout artists don't they? :D

With his next fight more then 3 months away. I think we can expect his opponent to be worth the wait.

He's not just a KO artist, he has genuinely good skills. I've seen his trainer's videos on yt and that old mother****er knows his stuff. He throws sweet combos from the inside, goes upstairs/downstairs, and is pretty competent and jabbing his way inside. I can see him becoming a good Chavez esque fighter not too far from now. Between him and Bute, hard for me to pick but I think DL will have the more impressive career.
