I think Marquez values his titles at 135 too much to give them up and I don't see Golden Boy putting Ortiz in there either.

Khan can outbox Maidana easily but he's got a punchers chance which is why I think Khan would use the same sort of fight strategy he did against Kotelnik to help him run away with a UD.

Beating Maidana would do a lot to get people on his side.

Marquez is old now dude, this isn't the same guy we saw in fights with Pac. Khan would be able to use his speed and size to win a comfy UD over him, he's too small. Plus Khan would get immense amounts of hate for taking the fight anyway, why should he?

whilst i would expect marquez to time khan and knock him out, he would receive too much hate, and not much credit if he won. it would do his legacy more to beat maidana or ortiz. can you believe that sentence? sad but true.

I honestly don't see Khan as the favourite in this fight.

Yes, it's a competitive affair, but after making the early running I can see Khan being worked out and stopped by Marquez.

It's definitely not a fight I'd be pursuing if I were his advisor.

I'd have both eyes on Maidana - he's getting a lot of undeserved hype for not a lot of substance and is a KO waiting to happen. Khan should take the credit for it rather than leaving it to someone else..... it's not as if the chin issue is major here, if Maidana hits anyone at 140 it's :zzz

Reminds me of Lewis taking Michael Grant because of the HBO hype, rather than the mandated fight with Ruiz.

We have heard this all before.............

It is just talk. He needs to get that fragile Glass Jaw in the Ring.

JMM is fighting Katsidis. I'd prefer to either of the other two mentioned, with Maidana obviously being the fan favorite and being more deserving of it.

Much prefer if JMM fought Katsidis and Khan fought Maidana, Ortiz, Judah, etc.
