Man...get over it. I'm NOT dismissing any others opinions any more then YOU ARE. Chill the eff out man. This is called a discussion. Don't go all drama queen please. I am being civil in my disagreement and giving my explanantions. No where did I ever say your opinion doesn't mean ****.

But for you to put Margarito on Yuri Foreman's level is pretty ridiculous. And for you to say I said Margarito is a better option then those guys tells me you aren't reading what I am saying, since I never claimed that. My position is, Margarito is NOT as terrible a fight as you guys make it out to be. He's gone head to head with he top guys in the division.

It's as simple as this, if Pac kills him, then you were right. If it's a tough fight, then I was right. Until then, anything you are claiming is speculation, as to an extent what I am saying. But again, so you do NOT misunderstand, my contention is Margarito is NO pushover and should make this a good scrap.

lol i aint getting all drama queen, you just seem quite a bit stuck up.

well foreman schooled santos. we all saw how "well" margo did vs santos didnt we? see when context is removed anyone can look good. foreman has certainly done more in the last 2 years than margo did, and had his knee not conked out who knows what would have happened.

you could be right, i could be giving margo too little credit. i agree it is all speculation, but at this moment in time i dont see how margo has warranted this shot, i just dont see it. if it is a close fight? im still not sure i would give pac any credit cos i expect him to anhilate margo. if margo goes on to do really weel at lmw in the future, then ye i can look back and say "damn i thought that guy was shot"

Jesus christs man....is it impossible for you to relax? I seem stuck up? You are dismissing MY opinion just as miuch as you claim I am dismissing yours. Maybe it's YOU who's stuck up here. Just chill...

BTW..if youa re going to try and use Foreman beating Santos as some reason, perhaps you SHOULD NOT use Cotto as a better opponent since Margarito beat him. And beat Martinez. And had a close fight with Williams.

lol i relaxed too the max me pal, got a stella in my hands, all is good. i aint dismissin your opinion, like i said i respect it :good

i was using foreman as an example to highlight the flaws in your argument. obviously foreman would be a **** fight to make, that being said he has done more in the last 2 years than margo. can you disagree?

Cool....because Stella is my beer!! I'm about 6 hours from a Stella myself. Cheers!! :good

I wasn't trying to dismiss your either. The only guys who's opinion I dismiss are the idiots trolls (mainly Floyd fanatics who make it obvious). You at least are using examples, so much repsect.

As for Foreman, he may have done more in the last two years, but not over his career. He hasn't a single win that measures to Margarito's top 5.

Since they are fighitng for nothing more then a vacatnt belt, I have no qualms. NEITHER guy will be recognized as nothing more then a title holder. WHich is equivalent to nothing more then a contender in the division.

I don't call anyone with a belt Champ, since there's only ONE per division.

can not beat the stella :happy:happy its been my beer for a long time now.

ye trolls on here do my head in, especially the ones who add nothing to a debate. i truly believe they should start filtering trolls out of this sight, or atleast do a q&a upon entry to the forum, so only fans of boxing can access it.

i appreciate foreman has achieved nowhere near as much as margo, but then again margo hasnt achieved as much as vargas or mayorga IMO it is about form for me, form going into fight night, and IMO margo dont have the form to justify a big fight. like i said i could be wrong and he could go on to be a big champ, i just doubt it.

ye i appreciate it is for a vacant belt, just i an see him vacating once he wins, dropping back down to ww, and then i cringe at the fought of buffer calling him a cahmp form 106 right up until 154. i know there have beensome shite undeserving champs in history, maybe its the times and belts arent as relevant these days, but i still remember a time when they meant something, and i clamour for thos days once more. its like when you hear devon alexander talk about how he spent his whole childhood dreaming of being wbc champ of the world, and seeing that same belt being awarded for this fight, it just dont sit well with me.

Margarito is a flat footed, slow, fighter who blocks punches with his face. What do you think? The guy is a sitting target his face is going to get shredded by Pacquiao. :deal

In my humble opinion, either one winning the vacant title is the equivalent of Mayweather's titles at 140 & 154. DLH's title at 160. SRL's title at 175. They are artificial in meaning. Hell, Mayorga beating Piccarillo for the title is just as weak. We have a TON of so-called "champs" in boxing.

With the ABC's having several "champs" in each division, and that has been the case for a long time now, the damage has been done. Multiple Division Champion does not mean what it meant decades ago. PAc isn't doing anything that hasn't been done before. He's just a higher profile case.

Thats my point really, he is acting like others before him. i expected more off him. it was like at 135, he definitely cherry picked the weakest champion. he is supposed to be our p4p king, and there are tougher fights he could have taken. maybe im askin too much of him, i dunno. like i say i dont see this fight being competitive, and the form book backs me up with that, yet there are more

Who would have thought that margo would now be considered as a safe fight for pac. Two years ago, you would have been called a ******* or labelled as ignorant for saying this.

This is a fight at 154. Who is a bigger opponent at that weight?

When I say bigger, I mean in terms of public appeal.

fighting Mosley at 147 would have been no dumber than fighting Cotto at 147. Pac would win either fight even though his opponent would have a huge advantage.

Fighting Mosley at 140 would've been an even dumber move, because it would've been a boring one-sided and meaningless beatdown.

Fighting Cotto at 145 was the right move. Cotto put up a good fight for a few spurts and then Pac did what he does. Also, Cotto is the guy who outboxed Mosley, people shouldn't forget that

Answer to thread title - yes.

This match is a fkn joke... Ive been off line for a while so I don`t know what happened with Floyd v Pac but whatever did happen... its just not acceptable... in fact its fkn shameful & both these pricks should have future fights boycotted.
