Bowe and Lewis going at it. Man I wish this fight would have happened!!!

Ever since I first saw that I've always wondered what Bowe meant about Lewis lying "you lied on me"...anyone know? Suggests they were friendly at some point.

 

Bowe = pathetic. Reminds me of Haye.

Bowe was lucky to have fought when he did, because he wouldnt have made it in todays HW market. He would probably beat American fighters like Chambers but would fall short against the tough European HWs

Bowe KO Lewis in a streetfight

 

I love Riddick Bowe, but there's no guarantee on that. He certainly had the skill, but history has shown us that he did not have the longevity or discipline to maintain it. You can't make Bowe into someone else. Bowe is Bowe. People always talk about what could have been instead of what is with tragic characters like him. To imagine Bowe with discipline is like imagining Golota without the mental instability.

That said, I really wish this fight could've been made. It would've been competitive for sure, as Lennox wasn't the champion he would become whereas Bowe was hitting his stride earlier. I really don't think Bowe was afraid, but then, he did avoid him, so that's that.

 

Yeah someone stole Bowe's Sony Walkman. Lewis said he had nothing to do with it.

 

damn shame this fight never happened.

 

Bowe struggled and had trouble with Golota.
Bowes career highlight is 2 wins over a former CW champ who beat him in one of those fights.
Bowe wouldnt last today against
