    He did hire a nutritionist.

Unfortunately, he ate the dude thinking that is how you use them.

I honestly think that pro boxers should have to reach a certain body fat % in order to fight professional. It's not fair for slobs to be looked up to by kids. Give those guys away to UFC, please.

    I'm dead serious, too.

What an absolute disgrace, and I'm surprised that ppl still pay him attention.

HE WILL NEVER COME IN SHAPE PEOPLE. Stop wasting your time with him.

Fair enough he's a nice guy and all, but he severely pissed me off with his awful shape coming in theKlitchko fight, and then has the audacity to cry about it. This is the heavyweight championship of the world, one of the greatest titles in sport, Louis, Dempsey, Marciano, Ali held this title at one point, and this **** comes into a fight of that magnitude looking like the michellin man.

    Sorry guys, rant over.

He had that nondescript first round KO over Travis Walker if anybody remembers that gem. The pinnacle of his career I would assume.

The pursuit of the heavyweight championship of the world should be conducted with honor. When I was fighting, there was a certain reverence for what we were doing, and what we were dreaming about.

Sounds alot like an Alchoholic or drug addict with those words. Definietly has an obsession with food. Ill bet you Arreola blows up to at least 350 after he retires.

:good Very true he has to get rid of "Electric Man" (heard the story:huh) this guy is his party partner and homie. He needs a real pro trainer that will give him **** when hes messing up. IMO Arreola is a good fighter already but it looks like he will never live up to his potential. I know Roach seems to be training everyone these days but he could really make Chris into a championship level fighter.

good point guys. a fighters life is RIDICULOUSLY disciplined to compete at the elite level. most guys can't do it alone. duran needed help to stay focused, same with leonard and ali. guys like hagler and marciano were machines but they are rare. he needs someone that will ****ing leave his fat ass like cunningham did with spinks if he slacks off

Ive given up on Arreola. I was stoked when he came onto the scene, a legitimate mexican american heavyweight contender

But the kid just doesnt have the discipline.

Everyone that says "Boxing is a bodybuilding contest", you are all idiots.

These guys are PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES. That means they perform athletic activities, which means they must be shape.

Obviously boxing is unique in it being a combat sport, but thats no excuse for having a beer gut.

Athletic nutrition is one of most important components of an elite athlete's training. Anyone that says otherwise doesnt know what the **** they are talking about. You cannot be an elite athlete and eat like **** and expect to perform to the best of your abilities. Its like telling me that sticking leaded low octane gas in a ferrari engine is good for it. Yeah ****ing right

So I guess a fight for the Russian heavyweight title between Povetkin and Boytsov couldn't measure up to Quezada vs. Arreola?

And thats not even mentioning SNV...
