    Great Chin. (Better defense)
(And he will be able to fight once his reflexes are gone unlike say a Jones Jr.)

I think you have talked a lot of sense on this thread Scar, as you always do. However, I didn't mean that Pac could put Floyd to sleep with one punch, but that he could follow up on the results of landing a great punch whereas the inept Corley and the old tired Mosley could not. Pac will tap that chin, have Floyd in trouble a la Mosley, but will be able to keep attacking and keep landing.

As Manny says, "I will attack until Mayweather is gone".

Never seen him take a good shot without spazzing out myself.

If that's the case then we'll have to wait and see how he handles it, I personally agree with you and doubt he will handle it well but looking forward to it IF this fight finally happens. Pacquiao definitely has the speed to follow up with a lot more for the entire round if he lands something as big as Mosley did in his own style. I will be shocked if Pacquiao doesn't put him in a bad position like that at least once the entire night even if he loses and Mayweather handles the pressure/power.

So many exciting points to discuss I could be typing all day. Too bad Mayweather did more to ruin this fight from happening and Pac continues to make him look worse by staying active.

Fought Mosley & DLH and has yet been dropped by a punch so I'd say he has a great chin. I agree with Hatesrats he should be able to be successful when his reflexes are gone even when he goes against top-level competition.

Then you need to watch more of his fights. Castillo landed good shots, Judah landed a solid shot early in the 3rd that stunned him but didn't wobble him at all. Corrales landed his share, DLH, Hernandez, Chavez and many others. Hell even Augustus landed a lot.

So many here posting proving they haven't seen enough of his early career at all yet continue to act knowledgeable when actually ignorant and foolish. Mayweather was never THIS defensive till he started moving up. In the lower weights he had many fights with toe to toe exchanges because he had the power to hurt them and could afford to do it without risking a broken right hand.

    Agreed on all counts :good

I've never ever thought that Floyd was going to make this fight, but I will keep hoping I am wrong.

    Two things:

    1) Mosley is the hardest hitter at 147 and below.

    2) Mosley countered Floyd perfectly with that 2nd right hand that buckled his knees. Floyd threw a left hook and was countered in the middle of it by the right. Mosley gave Floyd a taste of his own medicine. Floyd didn't see that one coming at all. Everyone knows the punches you don't see coming hurt you the most, so let's not play stupid. If you compare Floyd's replay to the ones of margariTOE getting clocked you can see marg actually rolled his head away from the punches. Floyd didn't do this.

A hard hitter like Mosley wasn't able to floor Floyd with a perfectly timed counter, so Floyd must have a great chin. We can't call it an iron chin because Floyd's style doesn't allow for his chin to be tested enough to see. The world will never know what it's really made of.

It only takes one punch to end a fight, and Floyd's been hit by more than one big punch during his career. It pains you to give Floyd any kind of props doesn't it you natural born ***** lol...

PAc isn't making Floyd look bad in anyway. PAc is the one who embarrassed himself by now agreeing to what he didn't agree with during the first negotiations. Floyd hasn't said a word about his immediate future, yet PAc is making him look bad lol...child please!

I find it strange that both Corley & Mosley caught him with a right hand right after Floyd threw a punch that missed. But like I said before, Floyd fought DLH & Shane, toke shots from both, and didn't go down so I say he has a great chin. Not concrete but pretty solid.

Floyd had something to do with guys not being able to finish him when they hurt him. Where PAc went down and stayed down, Floyd never went down except on his own volition when his hand was hurt. Against elite fighter PAc had Morales hurt in fight 1, and JMM hurt in both fights and he didn't finish them yet if PAc hurts Floyd, he finished what Corley and Shane couldn't do huh...yeah, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!!!

Floyd also didn't decrease the impact of either punch by rolling his head away.

He fights his style and doesn't expect to get hit much. Sometimes they catch him when he's in shoulder roll position thinking he won't get hit, so he doesn't roll his head away from the punch.

He knows how to neutralize their follow up and reacts fine after getting tagged hard.

I always said he had a good chin, and great recovery as well.

Negative, Mayweather is smart. He will hold on and cling if he have too. Just like he did with Mosley. If he can take Mosley best shots and recover, he can take Pac's best shot. Mosley is the stranger and harder puncher than Pac.
