I'll put a lifetime bet on the line if this fight comes along that not only Pac beats him but absolutely dominates him and makes him look silly. Floyd is the most overated boxer in history. Even defensively he's overrated. Hopkins has a better, more dynamic defense. Don't get me started on Whitaker and many others. A guy who can't even string together 3 punches can never be called a great boxer. He's a great potshot artist, but that's a one-dimensional style that'll get exposed against the right opponent.

You make some good points, but Pacquiao does have a weakness - Counter Punchers. Since climbing to the top, the most competitive fights he has been in were against Marquez, who used his counter punching skills and timing. Regardless of everything you posted about Floyd (aging, slowing, etc.) its hard to argue that he's not a master counter puncher, even better than Marquez. Because of his strength in this area, and Pac's weakness against fighters with this skill, it makes for an intriguing match up. I tend to lean towards Mayweather countering his way to a UD, if this fight ever happens.

Floyd can't be exposed, he can be beat -- but not exposed. He is proven well beyond that point, the guy is a ATG, stop being stupid. Pac may beat him, I don't personally think so but it is possible, but it wont be exposing him.

Pac has been placed in with guys with no footwork and cement feet. From DLH to Hatton to Cotto to Clottey and now Margo. None of these guys have the movement to escape Pac's punching zone as he charges in while setting up counters. The best was Cotto and he is average at best. Marquez did it beautifully and he doesn't even have great athletic ability but did it with smarts and timing. Mayweather has athletic ability as well as smarts and timing. Not to mention Mayweather also has much bigger reach then Marquez. So not only does Mayweather have the legs, IQ, and timing to give Pac hell, he also has the reach to hit him out of Pac's punch range while Marquez didn't have that luxury.

Pac is going to have to come to Mayweather's punch range every time in order to hit him. Mayweather doesn't have to be in Pac's punch range to hit him. Mayweather can use his footwork and timing to continually slip Pac's punch range forcing him to extent himself just like Marquez did to him with less reach while landing some counter bombs.

Roach is praying that Mayweather lost his legs.

see how Marquez keep his hand in Manny's face as he entered to stop him from being able to go to the head as well as used his legs to extend Pac, escape then landed 2 nice shots on the counter. Mayweather has a big reach advantage and he can do that all day as Pac comes in. Of course it only works if Mayweather is at a decent distance already.

You make some very good points. People forget that PAC is not invincible, showing how marquez schooled him, brings that point home.

Floy doesn't like to fight in a slug like the HOMBRES who when the heat is on they won't run they return fire-with-fire,straight up, right back atcha.That's what it is about,no olympic marathon,no hugging.This is the warriors code.You noticed that, if you haven't you don't know **** about BOXING.Clinching and running all of these garbage is killing the sport.Just joking.I think Floy is too sleek for PAC.But i think I can see pac giving him probs tho and it will be a secret on HOW for now.
