anyway what Tyson did is a miracle... How in hell can you lose that much weight in a short period at 45?

Interesting thing is how he looked different in a T-shirt. Watch how he looks against Michael Spinks in the actual fight, then watch the post-press-conference interview where he is wearing that green shirt. He looks smaller wearing the shirt.

He is also bone-mass heavy. That's why he can be 215, at 5'11, and look smaller than some others that weight the same. Even when he was a young teen, his weight was higher because he was bone-mass heavy.

That said, his new way of life, his new diet, and I'm not sure what he is doing for training if it just cardio or what...but he has changed. Age does it as well. You cant think the person will be the same as in his 20's compared to years of wear and tear and being 40+
Also, going back to diet, Creatine, among other minerals, is found in meat. I'm not sure it is found in other sources of food.

Crash diet. Vegan diet. Genes. And Tyson is an extreme person. He'll starve himself. He even did that in his younger days to lose weight. Eat for a few days, starve for a few days. At least that is what one article I read about him said.

The problem with all that, at least in my experience, is that I've noticed to much muscle and strength loss. You still need to keep your protein high if you are going to cut weight.

I remember reading one article that said when he was in Arizona training, it was like 100+ degrees, and he told his crew he was going to walk to the gym. It was miles in extreme heat. Why? because Napoleon did it.

Depending on when that EPSN radio interview was, he was asked about his weight and I think he said he was around 222 lbs.

Personally, I'm not for a vegan diet if you want to be massive and have that full look in your muscles.
Girls that do it, at least in my opinion, seem to lose their breast roundness and swollen ass look. Just unhealthy looking. Not as round with the muscles.

Tyson doesn't need to train nor eat like he used to as an athlete. At this point, and remember, his sister died I think from obesity in her 20's, Tyson just has to worry about his health.

You might be right but his prime fighting weight was 217 and he was WAY more muscular than that. I know that age changes a person's body composition but I have a hard time believing that Mike is the size he was on fight night for the Berbick match. Of course as many have said here, it may be the T-Shirt that makes him look smaller...

Very easy to believe. As you get older your hormone levels get lower naturally and thus you loose musculature. This would be augmented even more by his vegan diet so of course his muscles will atrophy. Its a no brainer. The guys in his mid 40's. He looks perfectly normal for someone his age.

    That motha****a got a big-ass head....

As far as his weight, He looks to be at about 205-210, but as someone else stated, the short could be deceiving.

Saw pics a few weeks ago, evidently slimmer.

He doesn't mean to brag, but he could still smash.

I am exactly the same this way. I look waaaaaaaaaaaay bigger in a tight shirt than I do in a normal one.

    I am 5'11 and 250.

    A vegan diet is awful.

If a high fat diet is lethal, a vegan diet is set to hyper death.
