Marketability matters. You have to be exciting, either stylewise, physically, or personally, and Dawson just isn't the most interesting man in the world. I like him. I love his skillset. But the only way for a fighter like him to get popular is to beat and school as much ass as physically possible.

 

Dawson just needs to bite the head off a live chicken during his ring walk or something like that to wake people up.
