The point of my picture is that Marquez was able to cut down emmanuel's punch output by throwing a Mayweatheresque volume of punches.:patsch

I agree that Pacquiao would beat Mayweather but dude Mayweather is only 1 year older than Pacquiao.

Boxing expert gander tasco failed to see that Floyd's potshots didn't do much to Oscar, because Oscar has good defense courtesy of his excellent hand placement. You need to throw moar than just one punch potshots to split through that type of guard.

manny is easier to hit compared to Oscar. He also has a brawler mentality which leads him to be extra offensive compared to Oscar's moar defensively oriented boxer style. All of emmanuel's offense will create opportunities for Floyd to land clean counters.

Post started out well and then trailed off. The thread starter is a troll, so I won't bother to pick apart what he said.

Pac will finish what Shane Mosley did not finish in the second round.

    :thumbsup

I think Pac will destroy Mayweather. People keep talking about Mayweather's vaunted defense, my ass. The man can be hit. The 38 yr old Shane Mosley broke from the script and proved that. Except Pacquiao isn't going to MYSTERIOUSLY quit punching. Mayweather's defense isn't going to dissaude or demoralize Pacquiao. He'll keep punching.

And the reason he'll keep punching is, I know that Mayweather's 1 or 2 pot shots aren't going to hurt Pacquiao. Mayweather won't be the hardest puncher Pacquiao has ever faced, by far. And for those of you that can't face it, Mayweather hasn't been tested at the very least since the Dela Hoya fight. Any fighter will have a tendency to lose an edge and Pacquiao will be there to exploit it.

Now on the other hand, Mayweather himself likes to remind everybody how great he is... blah...blah... self aggrandizing statement.. blah... blah... "you can't hit what you can't touch... blah... blah... Pure narcassism. Typical of Mayweather. Except there's an obvious disconnect between his mouth and legs. A man that fancies himself being the best for some mysterious reason doesn't want to make tons of money, while proving it against a boxer he claims wouldn't be a challange.

There's no GOOD reason why this fight isn't happening this year, NONE except the obvious and it ain't because of Pacquiao...

The reason Mosley stopped throwing punches after round 2 is because whenever he did throw, he missed and got a fist to the face every time he did. This will be the reason why Pacquiao won't throw as many punches as usual
