Good point. Of course, the babies on here won't pick that up though. My gosh my baby nephew cries less than they do.

Actually lots of people hate his personality. Maybe because of his name (S.O.G) which many thinks is bull****.

I'm a huge fan of Ward but you can't deny that he was billygoating Kessler all night long. A neutral ref would have prevented it.

I feel bad for Kessler but Ward still put on a very good performance even without the fouls.

In all seriousness. the most impressive thing in the whole tournament is Wards ability to foul through his two matches without getting so much as a point off!
Headbutts holds man is a genious!

What is more impressive is Ward's ability to have every fight at home.

Theres been a few good ones
Froch vs Kessler - although not the most skilled performance was a good performance by both fighters for the bravery and heart showed

Froch vs Dirrell - Froch not as naturally skilled put his own strengths to work, to make Dirrell fight in a way he didnt want to

Dirrell vs Abraham - Dirrell boxing well before the finishing punch. Hopefully Dirrell will not keep going to the floor as often now

    Very true.
Whats more sickening is how journalist praise this as well. Zachery Levin for Boxing News when praising Ward said about how Wards head becomes the third best fist in boxing.
Don Stradley a freelance writer and regular contributor to The Ring wrote a peice in the Ring mag praising Ward and saying Wed like to see him show some power and maybe use his forehead a little less. Earlier in the article in the Ring writes Dirrell may be the only tourney fighter fast enough to avoid Wards head.

He should be punished and having his cheating brought to attention, not praised for it. I admit Stradley mentioned the head use but should be saying no illegal headbutting, not less

Dirrel's excellent performance against Abraham gets my vote. It really was a "shutout" with respect to the scorecards. He moved very well, let AA almost no chance to catch him with bombs. Nevertheless I think a second fight between them will have a different ending (and I don't think of a DQ win for Abraham :)) .

The Dirrel who boxed (fought?) Abraham would've won against any of the other tournament participants. Question is if he can reproduce such a flawless, top-notch performance.

Ward is a good (although dirty) fighter - no doubt. However, I don't think that he will win against Abraham. Same with Kessler who has faded or was never that good. The outcome of Ward vs. Kessler was a surprise for me, but - again - I don't think that Ward would've such an easy time if the two fighters meet again. He might still be able to win, but that would be a war.
