GBP may be protecting him but they sign Khan's cheques, it isn't up to Khan who he faces, he'd face anyone in the division if it was his choice IMO.

Probably after bigger names like JMM, since that would make more money and they're in the profit making business.

Warren was happy for the fight to go to purse bids. He also had a deal lined up with Bradley.

Khan then jumped ship to GBP for "bigger fights"... Maidana's manager said they had "come to an agreement" with GBP, and Paulie was cherry-picked for "American exposure". Paulie just so happened to be on of the lightest hitters of all time. Pure coincidence though, honest.

Did he leave cause Warren let him in the ring with a semi good puncher?

Funnily enough they originally couldnt fight Maidana cause they had a deal with career featherweight JMM. Then JMM says no and they went straight to Paulie, they was no way even considering Maidana :good

    gee I wonder why

Are you sure it has nothing to do with his fragile glass jaw getting demolished on sky tv in under 60 seconds ?

Its shocking that GBP picked the better known opponent simply because they could sell more tickets and generate a lot more money with a higher profile fight....

Were the tickets expensive in the small section of MSG that was opened for this fight ? The revenue was massive was it ?
