for ****s sake, thats 2 fights in his entire career, 1 was early on anyways, and it was deliberatley boring, he just went out to prove he could do the distance :patsch
and he did what he needed to win vs valuev

not many fighters are exciting as haye at the moment, when he fights that is...

I agree, he is very exciting, it is why I'm such a big fan but he never mentions how boring he can be. Those fights were some of the most boring ever.

Proving he can go the distance is not justifiable. He can't do that on our watch, he can do that in the gym. Even then at the pace he went, he didn't prove ****. He had also just come off of an 8th round ko win showing he could go late into a fight. The next fight he went 9 rounds in a war with Frag.

The Valuev fight is sort of justfiable but I still hold reservations as he allowed it to be too close, he never went for the kill and he gassed big time.

    eh?
why would he? hes been exciting much more than hes been boring?

when do b-hop or floyd admit to being boring? or any boxer at all really?
being in the gym and in the ring are different. its very justifiable. i know he went at a **** pace in the fight but he did the 12 and mentally knows from then on that he can do it.

his exciting fights far outweigh his boring ones. why the **** do you focus on 2 fights hes had???
even when he lost he had the decency to provide a hugely exciting fight

...because being exciting is a self marketing point for him when dissing other heavies.

the abdul fight offered nothing mentally. haye is strong mentally, he isn't a child. don't justify that joke of a fight. fans paid money to sit and watch him. they deserved alot more than 3 right hands a round.

someones a little bitter, 4 years on...
if thats the case, then anyone whos paid to see b-hop or a wlad klitschko fight(barring the 10seconds from when he lands a big right to get the KO) could demand their money back...or is it better that they are consistent with their criminally boring fighting?

i'm not bitter. i watched the abdul fight in the pub. with bhop and wlad you know what you get going in. as i said, for haye it is a selling point.

the fight was over in two rounds, i think the difference in class was very evident. you seem quite stupid talking about the first round in way that is trying to discredit haye when haye destroyed enzo in spectacular fashion in the next round. enzo said he would knock haye out.. he didn't.

regarding the performance against valuev, i knew personally that fight would be boring. i knew haye would have to box the way he did to beat valuev basically because of the size difference was too huge.

He would've(hopefully)/should've boxed a lot more aggressively if his hand wasn't injured. Valuev was a poor champion with average(being generous) heavyweight power.

He left it to the judges in Germany, without really dominating AT ALL. Holyfield was far more convincing a victory. So you saying he had to fight like this is wrong on your part IMO.

This fight is what convinces me he has ZERO chance with the Klits. He wont be able to run like he did as they cut off the ring beautifully, well ok, very well. Haye only has a punchers chance and to land that shot he's going to have to fight a bit reckless. He may get lucky, but 9 times out of 10 he gets knocked out.
