Floyd can't win this fight it's simple. Pac is too much for him. For every right hand Floyd lands, Pac comes back with 4 or 5. What can Floyd do about it, honestly? Pac has a great chin. Floyd doesn't . Pac is quicker with his hands and feet. He's younger. He's in prime. Floyd can't take punishment. He fights well under control but Pac's going to press him and throw punch after punch with speed and accuracy. Floyd simply doesn't do enough to back Pac off and he can't hurt him. In terms of size, he's bigger then Pac only as far as Cotto was bigger, which isn't much at all. He's going to get destroyed. Floyd is smarter then you idiots. Why do you think he's so hesitant to take this fight. If it was easy he surely would have taken it by now? He knows what the deal is.

Hey idiot 3 people have already taken up your bet offer. Are you going to accept or just act stupid now that it's in the air?

Yeah I'll take the bet :good The fight won't happen anyway though. No amount of money is going to force Floyd into a fight he knows he's going to lose.

I can not in good conscience let Gander speak on my behalf.

I don't think for a second Manny is going to bulldoze Floyd. I don't think Floyd is capable of knocking Manny out and I can't see Manny fighting the way he normally does. He's going to have to fight tactical and work his way in. Every fight is a blueprint. Floyd is more than likely not going to try and walk Manny down the way he did Shane because simply put, he can't.

I don't think this fight is going to end in a KO is basically what I'm saying. But for as long as we've been waiting, it better be the best goddamn fight in the last 10 years.

    You forgot the southpaw factor.

It is a big big deal to the Mayweathers. Floyds style is not designed for southpaws. He has a hard time changing his stance. Yes, he can beat a lot of good southpaw fighters but not a ATG southpaw.

Floyd ended up dominating every single southpaw he fought. emmanuel's results against a counter-puncher, Marquez, is still being argued about today.

That fight was at 140 pounds, not 147.

Pacquiao has been a road grader at 147, wearing down and TKO'ing Oscar and Cotto through sheer punishment.

Nah. This isn`t the worst. Plus most "fans" here believe that if a boxer, who has 30+ plus wins, loses once is a fraud. Hamed is a prime example of that. He's been exposed.

    1. i was responding to a post that says that Pac doesn't have that one shot power.

    2. that shot would've put Floyd down and maybe out.

Floyd don't get tagged like that. It's rare to find anyone was reckless with their defense as Hatton. He's one of a kind. It took emmanuel much longer to stop the moar defensively minded Oscar and Cotto, both who aren't anywhere near Floyd defensively.

emmanuel doesn't have that kind of one shot power unless your name is Ricky Hatton. That was also at 140.

One more time so for replies

I think Floyd vs pac will play out in a simular fashion as all of floyd's fights. The first 3-4 rounds will be close and anxious, then floyd will figure pac out and make it a normal nothing special fight.

From what I saw in the clottey fight to what I saw in the marquez fights I feel the weakness is still there and floyd can definately be the one to bring it full circle. When pacman was throwing punches, clottey sat in the shell and would only return one punch at a time in various spots far and in between. When clottey did throw while pac was attacking, he would snap pac's head back and go right back into the shell. Clottey wouldn't throw more than one punch until pac stopped swinging and took a break with his arms up. When pac took these little breaks, clottey couldn't do anything because pac was being defensive and saw everything coming. Clottey should have thrown more than one punch everytime he felt himself land on Pac. Those 4-7 punches per round could have turned into 12-21 punches landed per round. Obviously clottey didn't have the sack or gameplan to do this. It's like he never watched any of the marquez fights. If clottey would have made pac pay then pac wouldn't have been attacking like a madman breaking his punch output record. He would have slowed down and faught at a pace closer to his USUAL 70 punches per round instead of 100+, and most likely wouldn't have thrown that many if he were countered effectively.

When he fights mayweather that counter right hand landing is coming faster and harder than what was thrown by clottey followed by a left hook (before pac refocuses) and then another straight right. Pac is gonna slow down and start fighting a usual mayweather fight after mayweather makes him pay consistantly. Freddy roach will be pulling his hair out and yelling at pac what to do only to see pac go out there and repeat the process for 8 or 9 rounds straight. Not to mention he has never faced anyone near his speed and he is gonna be very cautous.

Afterwards people will say that manny was too small LOL.

    Can't wait for this one.
