He was never getting stopped and it was an accidental head butt.

I'm pissed off because I know people are going to say, "Intentional headbutt", "Pascal was getting stopped", and all that rubbish. Pascal won the majority of the rounds, and the headbutt was instigated by both of them. The rules instigate that they go to the cards, and Pascal was clearly ahead. Let's have a rematch but this is Pascal's night.

 

I think Pascal can be stopped but not necessarily in this fight.

You need to apply heavy pressure on him to wear him down. Once exhausted, even an iron chin can be take out.

Dawson would have to come back and apply more pressure from the start.

 

He got hurt everytime he was hit clean. Both of these guys have suspect chins

 

Pascal's chin is much better than people give it credit for but it is FARRRRR from being called granite.

Agree with this.... if he didn't stop him with his flurry on the ropes in the 11th, he wasn't stopping him, period.

Also, the same thing could be said about how Pascal let Dawson off the hook, MULTIPLE times after hurting or stunning him.

 

Hes done that playing possum act many times in other fights. He still looked strong as an ox to me. Also he took far more punishment and was in much more of a battle with froch to test his stamina.

 

Pascal was tired but never hurt by no personality Boring Chad Dawson.

 

This opens up huge possibilities for fights for just about everybody. Bute can fight Dawson at lhw or smw. Froch can give Pascal that rematch at Lhw. Cloud can challenge for the title or go through Dawson first to see who gets to challenge Pascal.

That's what I think should happen. Dawson vs. Cloud and winner gets Pascal. Meantime, Pascal should keep busy by fighting...someone.

So credit to Pascal for outfighting Dawson who just didn't engage enough and push the fight. So he has no one else to blame but himself.

Pssh...please stop being irrational. Pascal was clearly hurt with a severely depleted gas tank. There was more time in the 11th for Dawson to put him away and you also had the 12th. However, it's Dawson's fault for not applying proper pressure in certain flurries. I had Pascal winning by a mere one point once the fight went to the cards. Due to the circumstances, Dawson deserves an immediate rematch!
